They all had a shot at Royals too before he got to the Chiefs. Why didn't other teams before Tennessee draft AJ Brown? Sometimes there's a good reason, sometimes there isn't. What I do know is that teams aren't looking at these decisions as if they are playing dynasty fantasy football, which is exactly what we as fans are doing. There are undoubtedly a number of players that they want each round, but limited picks so business decisions must be made.

I guess he also was coming off a deltoid tear and missed the last 5 games of his season. Medical concern? Royals also had the route tree question as well so it’s not like he was some prospect that was a day one lock that somehow fell to day 3. Honestly no one knows how these guys will turn out. The complaining is always funny (I’ll admit that I used to be one of those people) If the Titans hit on one of these WR they drafted in round 4 it’ll be a success. Jumping up to grab Ayomanor when he fell further than many anticipated was exactly what I'd like to see from a GM, vs the "I hope the top player on our board is a WR when we pick next" answer and strategy from Ran. Looking forward to another decade of arguing about a mid reciever that has 1 solid year his whole career but is revered by Titans fons. BudsOilers
He was a decent 3rd WR for the Titans and then Jets. 4th round picks generally don't become Randy Moss. Callidus, and SleepingTitan

I never forgave him for his 2002 year. Felt like a complete waste of space. Then he has those decent 3rd/4th years but Titans fans kept pining for him as some sort of savior we lost. But I was also all in on Calico's 4.27 / 6'4" / 225 as the ultimate Terrell Owens/ Randy Moss combo and that skewed my hate for JMac .

I remember he had some bad drops on a MNF game in 2002 but he did come up big in the OT win vs Pittsburgh in the playoffs that year. titanruss
TerryBoats
Interesting to note that Dike and Mike Wallace are similar in terms of size and speed. Their Player Profiler metrics are almost identical. Now, does this mean that Dike will be as good as Mike Wallace in the NFL? Yes.

Really helpful for breaking down production and efficiency, and they also do metrics and pro comps such as these for everyone. Alcibiades
This remains the pick that baffles me the most. It seems to be solely based on his 40 time. There is no other reason to draft him this high. So, our WR coach must think he sees upside. But this guy's floor is really really low. His ceiling IS decent, but he's the definition of boom/bust pick, and his boom still seems like it's Kalif Raymond. I just don't get it. But I'd LOVE to be wrong, of course. titanruss
