titanruss Posted February 5 Report Share Posted February 5 I think thats guys uni designs suck ass.. The numbers arent even the same fonts. Too much light blue in the logo looks very smurfy. The silver helmets and total design looks more lions/texans/cowboys than oilers or titans. The weird shoulder color patch. The wordmark logo is unbalanced, like he doesnt understand rules of design, and he's using his digital tools in an amateurish way, editing individual letters (possibly even raster rather than vector) rather than the font itself. The originals were already a bit that way, but people got used to them and they were fine. The latest iteration is hideous and ridiculous, from the different colors and stupid sword to the goofy and tacky font for the numbers. All things considered, you really can't go wrong by keeping it simple and clean. There's plenty of counter examples, but usually the best unis keep it clean and simple. Are these the same as the ones I said I didn't like? Because looking at these full unis I kind of like this, except for the rivalries one only because of the color of the numbers.
