Blocking is probably why they brought in Ferguson for a visit. NashvilleNinja

I do agree 54 is really pushing that wr or edge pick though. I think the board broke in a way where it’s beneficial to them and if you trade down that far, you’re trading away (or down to) a lower tier when you’re talking mid to late 50s. We need quality over quantity at this point.

He doesn’t have NFL traits, period This sums it up perfectly. Sanders was never in the discussion for the #1 QB nor a realistic top 10 pick. People just ignored what the NFL was telling them. japan

He isnt a Y, inline blocker type. He doesnt even weigh 250 pounds. rns90

Seems like all of the available TE (best available ones anymore) are slot/F/move type TE. Callidus

titansfan
If you believe in the culture that Ward is going to facilitate then you can feel comfortable drafting Burden

Ya, there are a few blocker types that are supose to go late in the draft. The gt kid hawes and the nd one evans are the two that stuck out to me. Hawes is almost entirely a pure blocker. Evans is more balanced but definitely a Y guy imo. rns90

I like Edge at 35, but I think we'd forgive the team for using the opportunity to draft the new QB's former teammate.
AussieTitanFan08
Schefter on Sportscenter was hinting it might be a team like Seahawks/Cardinals that end up taking Sanders. Schefter also said Ohio St RB TreVeyon Henderson is going to go very early in round 2.
stormi
Not familiar with the strength of this draft throughout day two (so I'll happily concede), but I'd almost rather just stick and pick at 35. One of the benefits of being a near last or last place team is having a high 2nd rounder essentially with the player quality available to you of a late first.
