I fully understand the dynamics, but I genuinely can't remember a single poster besides troll accounts who rooted for something like our #1 overall drafted QB to be outplayed by a scrub for some cheap laughs at a Homer's expense. I don't care really, just an interesting line that can be covered by the last line "the FO said he didn't have to start immediately" or something like that. For the record, I wound up with 5 picks in the 1st league when I didn't have any coming into this year's draft. I still have my 2nd and 3rd next year, 2 1sts and a 2nd in 2027, and all my picks in 2028. I was in the championship game last year and I still have all of my best assets. I think I'm ok there for now. And with a few trades in league 2 I went from 3 picks to 11, only 3 of which were Titans, and most of which went directly to needs.
