Just kind of spitballing stuff, but assuming they draft Ward at 1, and trade down from 35 to pick up an extra pick , I wonder where WR kind of lands in the needs area list and when they choose to adresss it in the draft.

I’m also assuming they have signed a starting RT and a starting level S.

PFF has him ranked 233rd. He’s 6’6” 342 lbs. He’s a backup to Sweat in all likelihood.

Titans often bring in late round prospects on these 30 visits as well.

Jackson played 12 games and 382 snaps in 2024. What does that tell you?

I'd love Restrepo in the third or fourth in that instance. I think they'll sign a couple middling starting caliber receivers in FA like a Josh Palmer or Marquez Valdes Scantling, depending on what happens with NWI.

It would be sweet if Higgins ends up playing on the tag and the Titans get him next year with all that extra money, while releasing Ridley and replacing him with a high round pick in 2026.

I honestly think they’ll sign him to an extension in CIN.  They seem dumb enough to do it.

Palmer is a good under the radar signing at WR.

I fail to see the fascination with Higgins.  Nice 2 but he's no more of a 1 than Ridley is.

Right, I just like the idea of the number 2 WR being a possession WR in Callahan's offense.

I’m not sure if it was in that Nick Suss article with Brinker but Zach Lyons said today they’re planning on using like 24 of their 30 visits on Day 2 and 3 guys.

How many 1st round guys do you need to meet if you are expecting to pick top 3 at worst?

You could trade back.  They could fall to 35...

Planning for a double trade back when you havent traded back once pr for a top 5 guy to fall to 35 is a misallocation of resources

If they bring in 6 or so 1st round grade guys, personally don't see the big deal.  Obviously the 4 (Carter, Ward, Sanders, Hunter) are set but maybe they bring in another couple if they could trade beyond 3.

Ya, i have no problem with that. I said more than 6 would seem excessive for where we are. If your picking 12th then you need to meet more guys because the likelihood of guys you want being picked ia higher.
