Trump is genuinely an idiot running the country. Like an extremely low IQ individual. Bush was dumb in his ways but this is another level. Fascinating to watch him with even less guard rails

The biggest grift is the fact the GOP explodes the deficit every time they gain control of congress and the Whitehouse. They want $4.5T worth of tax cuts for the wealthy. Guess who pays for that? the

The White House on Wednesday defended its decision to block a reporter from The Associated Press from covering two official events because the news service did not refer to the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of America.

President Trump signed an executive order on his first day renaming the Gulf "in recognition of this flourishing economic resource and its critical importance to our Nation's economy and its people," according to the order.

The AP recommends that its journalists and the news organizations that rely on it reflect the Gulf's historic name, but acknowledge Trump's desired shift in language, which directly affects usage by the federal government and inside the U.S.

Now, as first reported by Drop Site News, it appears that President Donald Trump‘s State Department, led by Marco Rubio, expects to pay $400 million for some kind of “armored” Tesla vehicles. But don’t worry — Musk, now a special government employee for Trump, has assured the public that potential conflicts of interest as he unilaterally decides where government funds are directed will not be an issue.

The prospective $400 million budget item appears on the latest version of the State Deptartment’s procurement forecast, updated on Dec. 23, during Trump’s transition period and one month before his inauguration. The largest contract in the document, it’s expected to span five years, and describes a planned purchase of “Armored Tesla (Production Units).” It does not specify whether this refers to Cybertrucks, though Musk has touted the toughness of the Tesla vehicle’s stainless steel exterior and called it a “futuristic battle tank.” The truck, however, has been criticized for its production quality, which has resulted in multiple recalls since its debut in 2023. Retail sales have disappointed.

So much for all the suckers who think Republicans would cut the debt. Instead they want to blow it up. Again. Like under every Republican president in my lifetime.

The Republican House Budget resolution out Wednesday reveals the Ways and Means Committee will get $4.5 trillion to lock in tax cuts, one of President Donald Trump's major proposals.

The GOP also seeks an increase in the debt limit by $4 trillion, the resolution says.

When Trump was sworn in, Elon Musk's corporations were under more than 32 investigations conducted by at least 11 federal agencies. Most of the cases are now closed or likely to be closed soon, and the federal agencies are being defanged by DOGE. Funny how that works, huh?

If you read the article Robert Reich selectively edited...

"None of the investigations or lawsuits involving Mr. Musk and his companies, at least so far, have formally been dropped since the start of the new administration, according to more than a dozen current and former federal officials interviewed by The Times."

Liberals are the dumbest mother fuckers.

Complaining about ending government waste, abuse, and outright kickbacks. Is that really the stance Democrats want to take? Making federal employees come in to work like most citizens have to do is so heartless. Downsizing government, something almost every business has to do periodically is now something heinous?
