Robinson's big mistakes started in 2020 and continued until he was rightfully shit canned. That said, you can go back to 2017/2018 and see that he squandered a ton of draft capital as well. He basically did fine when he walked into the #1 pick and tons of cap space but once he had to maintain a decent roster he was bad. Vrabel did a good job holding things together for a while but when it crashed it crashed hard. Slow key blaming Tannehill for his incompetence is rich though. Like we faced teams missing their QBs at a crazy rate. Regardless if true or not.. there's too many variables to adequately compare without mentioning them specifically. Opponents on game day, SOS, mixed with Mularkeys short time here and JRobs excellent roster turnaround but also failures later. Mularkey sucked because of Robiskie and Mularkey was a crying bitch. Vrabel sucked because he's a power hungry fuckhead. Give them the same rosters and have them compete on gameday and I'd bet Vrabel wins 60%. That's about all you can say. They are both gone now. Basically an agent tells a reporter that their guy is an early favorite so that other people think they have less of a shot. Like @BudsOilers said, he hasn't even been listed as a second interview yet. Sounds like his only shot was to have his agent lie in a Hail Mary attempt at limiting the alternatives.
