Ward is still the only QB option

Allar may end up being a good QB, but the idea that he's a better prospect than Ward that just needs another year in CFB is laughable.

He has a 53/9 TD/INT ratio in his career at just 20 years old.  Not exactly comparable to Levis or Hackenberg.

It was either that or transfer. They were giving Manning the starting job.

As they should. Manning will likely be the most sought-after QB to hit the draft in a decade.

I have to say, College Football has definitely gotten more exciting with NIL. Players stay longer, talent spreads out, longer season.

Expanded playoffs also make more regular season games relevent to the final outcome.  That's in addition to 8 more playoff games.

He's got the pedigree for sure. I've seen very little tape of him. The hype wagon is rolling in Austin.

His uncles and grandfather were top NFL QBs (well, Eli is close enough). But there’s no guarantee he will be a star like them. I’m sure he will be good at Texas but will he live up to the family name?

He probably won’t end up being a total zero who can’t make an NFL roster but there’s a big gap between that and being Peyton or Archie.

The rich get richer. It’s great for the powerhouse programs. Sucks for most everyone else.

Though if Elon University could get their namesake to chip in a few hundred million in NIL money they would shock the world!

Well he hasn’t even started an entire year has he?  It’s more likely that he comes out in 2027 given all the question marks about his play.

He started a few games with Ewers hurt, but that was it. He has been the backup for 2 seasons so far. His uncles were 3 years starters.
