And fuck ESPN and the NFLN you pricks can't go to a commercial before the #1 pick.

Let us old-school football guys take a moment appreciate to the fact that the Titans earned the #1 overall pick the old-fashioned way.   Not by tanking or by trading up, but by simply being

I'd hate Hunter. The Titans best position is likely CB and you don't take a WR that high. If the Titans traded down to 3 and Carter went 2 I'd rather trade down again and maybe go for someone like Mem

The Titans have clearly left QB open as the likely choice at 1, but it's not like they've really removed the next likely possibility by their actions to date either, that being edge.

They have, yes.   Unless they want to go into the season starting one of the qbs on the roster - and I seriously doubt that.

No one knows how the Titans have Ward and Shedeur graded. They may be willing to trade back to pick 3, gain extra picks, and select Shedeur if they believe Cleveland might pass on him.

We don’t know, but yes we know they have Ward ahead of Sanders because it’s obvious.

There's no way you can willingly start Allen or Levis week 1. The only thing left that might plant a seed of doubt is if they get Cousins. Otherwise, it's going to be Ward, especially if they make no other QB moves.

Every time I hear we might draft Hunter and put him full time at WR I just shake my head, if it doesn't work out it is a colossal gamble with a high draft pick.

I would worry that Hunter (when his contract comes up) is going to argue he should be paid as a WR AND a CB (since he may play both)

And in a big market. He would only be a 5 year rental

Lol if he's playing and doing both well then it would be an expectation. It's not a worry or concern if that's what he's actually contributing

It kinda is, even if he breaks e ery mold and becomes a top 10 wr and cb and plays 80% of snaps both ways. If you pay him like he is two players you run the massive risk of losing not 1 but two big pieces at once.

Its a total hypothetical and one that hasn't needed a conversation before because no1 could do it. I still dont think its even close to possible for him to do more than play cb and sprinkle in some wr snaps here and there. Definitely not the other way around.

If you're playing him full time at two positions then you've already made the decision on that risk. He'd be absolute justified in demanding to be paid in relation to what a team expects him to contribute, and no team would have an issue with it. It'd just be an unprecedented negotiation.
