Titans secure picks #1 and #35 in the 2025 Draft

Odds makers seem to think Titans will stay at 1 and take Ward.

A big unknown was what the Titans would do at QB during FA. They basically did the bare minimum they could have in signing a career QB2/3. He isn’t even a viable bridge signing.

Unless they’re secretly committed to Levis or secretly in on an actually credible vet it basically confirms Ward.

And fuck ESPN and the NFLN you pricks can't go to a commercial before the #1 pick.

Let us old-school football guys take a moment appreciate to the fact that the Titans earned the #1 overall pick the old-fashioned way.   Not by tanking or by trading up, but by simply being

I'd hate Hunter. The Titans best position is likely CB and you don't take a WR that high. If the Titans traded down to 3 and Carter went 2 I'd rather trade down again and maybe go for someone like Mem

I don’t think the Allen signing points to Ward. They needed someone to compete with Levis for the backup position and that’s what this does.

This doesn’t preclude them from trading down and then picking up a QB later in the draft, signing Wentz, or picking up Cousins if he’s cut.

I personally think they should draft Ward. But I treat the Allen signing as just filling a backup role. Doesn’t mean they can’t find a starter elsewhere although options are dwindling

What I think the Allen does is help is 2 things.

1. The Titans can just take Ward and be done with it

2. It becomes so obvious to the Giants that we are going to take Ward and they sell us the farm to get him and we trade back

It’ll be really interesting to see if Cleveland tries to trade for Cousins. If they get him then I don’t think the Giants feel pressured to trade up because they may just be content with Shedeur

I hope so. That's the only way we got multiple firsts for a 2 spot jump. Hopefully the Giants feel it is worth it.

No one knows how the Titans have Ward and Shedeur graded. They may be willing to trade back to pick 3, gain extra picks, and select Shedeur if they believe Cleveland might pass on him.

This board will self-destruct if they take Sanders #1 overall.

lol I know! But what I was saying is that they may be willing to trade back to 3 and take Shedeur at the 3 slot if it means getting extra picks.

if they stay at 1 I think they’re taking Ward.

The Titans have clearly left QB open as the likely choice at 1, but it's not like they've really removed the next likely possibility by their actions to date either, that being edge.

Carter’s injury def has a slight in getting picked 1. It has to be Ward

could swap picks with Cleveland though, if they're as big on Ward as the media says

They have, yes.   Unless they want to go into the season starting one of the qbs on the roster - and I seriously doubt that.

We don’t know, but yes we know they have Ward ahead of Sanders because it’s obvious.
