I was born and raised in Miami.  Went to every 'Canes game through high school.  Even attended some summer classes on the Gables' campus.  Went to college in Florida and came back to every home game p

I think it's obvious at this point the Titans are taking Ward. I'm on board and think his ceiling is pretty high. Callahan gave an interview to A to Z after the season that was super revealing about t

I'm totally fine with the Titans drafting Ward. Enough people think he can be good and he's shown enough NFL traits. It would not be like the Titans overdrafting Anthony Richardson or Trey Lance.

Then you get into what is a good qb or not a good qb.   I used probowls as a quick metric.  Man..  I have no problem admitting when I'm wrong.  I've done it a ton.  You don't have a point- at least not one useful in determining what a team should do in picking qbs.   You're basically saying.. picking qbs successfully is hard. Yep- sure is.     Doesn't tell us anything

Whatever helps you sleep man. I can tell you aren’t married, incapable of admitting you’re wrong

No. I suggested Sanders is the best because he has one of the best Weight Average Target Percentages in the history of that stat.

Then that guy said well no one likes Sanders more like that is some point against a very relevant and reliable QB statistic. Again, get your self caught up and read the previous articles and points I posted. If you want to discuss those, I am all ears.

No.. you said you think BC might like Sanders better.  That was why I said anything.. I've seen nothing to say anyone likes Sanders better at this point.   Does it means Ward is better- no.

Anyway..  once you're back to clarifying old points.. the discussion is over.  Take care.

LOL using the Pro Bowl, especially in this era, as some relevant metric.  Fucking VY made a Pro Bowl.  So did Pro Bowl QB Snoop Huntley.

*shrugs*  use whatever metric you want. It will produce false positives but not false negatives.

Lol no it’s not a point for Sanders.  What happened in a different year is 100% irrelevant.  So you’re suggesting that a team should take a player they like less because in another year a player drafted second was better than a player drafted first?  That’s ridiculous logic.

 Yep lol

I have no idea how I got sucked into this.. except its a slower than expected work day

No, I said that because Sanders has the best WAT in sometime. I liked Ward better until two weeks back. Someone on here mentioned Ward’s accuracy issues and unlike most children on this board, I read more into it, came back & said I am sorry & that I was wrong about Ward being accurate then changed my preference to Sanders.

I know that’s a crazy thought, that I changed my mind and admitted I was wrong on Ward being the best QB.

That’s fair. Look I’m speculating on Cally liking him more.

My opinion: I like Ward and Sanders both. That said, gun to my head I go Sanders based on the deep ball issues Ward has had. Not to mention Sanders is one of the most accurate QBs ever using WAT.

I know this is unpopular, I know everyone hates Sanders personality, me included. It’s just so hard for me to ignore how dang good he was in college.

That's where this started.

You even move the goalposts on where it starts. How many divorces you on? 2 or 3?

Man- I have been happily married for 25 years  lol

I literally showed you where my comment started.  You want me to admit where I've been wrong.  Locker and Mariota are the two biggest.  Honestly for the last 10 years maybe..  I completely quit doing player evals.    I did call Cutler being better than the other two but that seemed obvious at the time and I loved the CJ pick when many didn't but after years of player evals.. I'll happily credit luck to those more than me.

Been wrong on more US soccer prospects you probably never heard of than football.

No problem being wrong..   In this case--- your logic is full of holes and that has nothing to do with comparing Ward vs Sanders which ... I haven't done.

I clearly stated the first QB drafted since 2015 mostly isn’t the best in the draft. Which is again 100% correct.

So  I checked.  91 qbs were taken since 2015.

So yes..  the 9 qbs taken were not all better than the 91 taken later.  26 in the first round.   Just by the odds that was never going to happen.

Even hitting on first round qbs is 44%. pro bowl rate by itself.

44% of 9 is 3 (rounded down).  44% of 17 is 7.

So the first qb taken would have to hit 78% of the time. That's higher than first overall picks hit.

So yeah... its hard to draft qbs.
