No. I mean what does it mean in regards to what Callahan prefers in a QB?

Those seem less like foundational moves and more like win-now moves. There's zero chance they are in win now mode even if they do end up drafting Ward or another QB early. They flat out have said multi-year rebuild and that's pretty obvious. The OL upgrade could easily be seen as trying to fully evaluate Callahan's offense as there's no question the right side of the OL and Latham's play later in the season. Now to me Moore is certainly a longer term piece. Zeitler to me is not and ideally they draft and develop a longer term replacement. I think you can look to teams like Philly and Detroit and Baltimore to see how important line of scrimmage play is.

Cally states multiple times he sees Burrows in Sanders. I assume the comp is like Burrows Sanders is extremely accurate but doesn’t have the biggest arm. I am just guessing Cally likes Sanders more because his previous comments made me feel that way but again I am speculating. With that said, WAT is 2/2 in last two drafts in QB success. Here’s the article where Cally compared Sanders to Burrows: japan

Idk why people keep saying he said they’re similar in general. And you should look in Cory’s WAT rankings from last year beyond the top 2 guys. japan, and oldschool

Yeah if I Disregarded WAT hitting on Stroud and Daniels who had the two best rookie years in NFL history for a QB, it can be wrong? Am I doing it right? The quotes from Callahan about Burrow are never connected to Sanders. Only the headline would lead you to believe that.

BudsOilers
What Sanders does really well is throwing with anticipation and ball placement accuracy. What he doesn't do well at all is escaping pressure and how those negative plays kill drives.

I think his bigger issue is leadership and maturity, as well as his motor mouth.

Stevenths78
Here’s another article who also quoted Cally the same as ESPN. Calling a black guys Radio because you disagree with his takes, is only something the incels on TR would do. Keep it classy Titans Report, & yes Callahan did compare Sanders to Burrows. Calling a Black Reporter, Radio, does not make it untrue. I am truly baffled at the maturity of some posters here. https://athlonsports.com/nfl/tennessee-titans/titans-hc-brian-callahan-shedeur-sanders-joe-burrow Edited March 18, 2025 by Stevenths78 WG53
