Tax cuts are coming combined with attempts to reduce SS/Medicare

At the rate we are going, I ain't getting SS. Will you mortgage the next generation's future to receive SS and continue spending like a rich housewife of Houston?

If you find yourself being forced to defend RFK because of your politics, I'd seriously reevaluate my politics, lol

As a staunch atheist, I really hate Jimmy Carter because he gives Christians a good name!

So apparently Hegseth was a tax cheat on top of everything else. But somehow an IRS audit is evidence of Biden corruption…

Illegals pay into social security and receive no benefits.

End tax on tips reduces money into the social security trust fund.

No tax on social security benefits hurts the trust fund.

Talk to Trump about his plans that you voted for.

I'll transfer you to the DOGE Department...

Instead of fleecing the American people for high taxes, why not cut spending?

Husband: "Honey, we went negative this month by spending on your Hermes Bag and Tiffany & Co brand dog bowl. And the $2,000 donation to our neighbors in Ukraine. Our spending is not sustainable."

Wife: "Just work more hours as a garbage man and I'll apply for another credit card to max out. I'm doing my part. I'm saving 15% of the money you gave me for our retirement."

Wife: "I don't know what you bitching about. Man up and be more responsible. P.S. Fuck the patriarchy!  Straight up!"

I read recently that Medicaid has an asset requirement before you can qualify.  In other words, you can't have any assets other than your home and still qualify.

The ACA has an income requirement, but no asset requirement, in order to qualify for subsidies.  As a result, some people with assets are retiring early.  They show no actual income, qualify for ACA subsidies and spend down their bank account to live on.  All prior to qualifing for medicare.  In other words, the ACA becomes a bridge to medicare sometime for people who have financial assets.  No idea how widespread this is.

Heaven forbid any American get decent health coverage at a reasonable rate. What's really cool, the tax code is set to where it's so easy to manipulate long term capital gains down you can draw down on your savings and still get a maximum subsidy which also puts you at 93/7 of what you pay vs 85/15. on a normal silver plan.
