The funny thing about Levin is he was a Never Trumper and supported Cruz in the 2016 primaries. He said he'd never vote for Trump in a general election.  Just like we saw in all the Fox host text

The Dems are so great

BTW, this isn't a question of the Dems being "so great".

Trump is that bad. He was un-electable and 100% unfit.

We'll see what people, including his own voters think about him after 4 years.

I'm watching it in real time, in person, at the post office. As well as on social media on post office groups.

I've heard with my own two ears multiple co-workers and read it online say they fucked up and voted for Trump now that they fear their job/livelihood is in jeopardy. We're a month in.

The funny thing is it was well known how Trump felt about the Post Office and government agencies.

So why did my co-workers vote for Trump essentially fucking themselves? Like I originally said, not because they are Nazi scum, it's because they were misinformed idiots.

Then the Dems are incredibly stupid that they weren't able to better capitalize on such an obvious political win.

The people I'm talking about watch right wing media non stop. I don't think it's a case of the Dems being stupid as much as once again, the voters being misinformed/uninformed morons. They purposely watch Fox to hear the views they want to hear.

It takes the slightest bit of effort to inform yourself.

There are a ton of videos, like the Venezuelan lady crying because Trump tricked her, or the IRS guy who thought they were going after the waste(lol). Were they really tricked? If they truly were they are idiots.

People on this forum watch Racheal Maddow non stop. They aren't any better informed than the Joe Rogan fanatics.

People are under constant attack from various media sources to shape the lens through which they see an event and shape how Americans, at scale, will respond. It's easy to call them uninformed morons while simultaneously latching on to an alternative that has lost ALL credibility in their eyes and offering nothing to actually try to convince them of how you will help them or listen to their plight while also calling them "fascists", "racists", and "nazis". Of course they voted against the people who call them "uninformed morons" while also needing their help to get the outcomes they want.

Democrats screwed themselves by not forcing Biden to understand he was too old to be an effective candidate...then when Biden eventually tanked, they pivoted to a relatively unpopular candidate and relied on watery, weak messaging that went nowhere with voters.

The rules and attitudes of American politics have changed quite dramatically in the past decade.    Democrats either failed or refused to recognize or understand this.....and have only themselves to blame for failing to run a quality campaign with a quality candidate.

When the starting position the posters here take is that they are morally and intellectually superior, the conversations are pointless.

Like you pointed out, the dems need these "uniformed voters" or their candidates don't get elected. So they become intelligent at that point?

Or perhaps they were uniformed when they voted democrat and are now informed and voted republican.

Also, anyone that posts about how all their work buddies/friends are all against the candidate they just voted for seems like a bullshit story made up to score some dumb internet points.

I don't watch political cable TV shows but I'll guarantee the list of misinformation from Joe Rogan vs Racheal Maddow is completely one sided. The idea that is a legit comparison is totally flawed.

Fox paid 1 bill for knowingly lying, where is the left wing media comparison to that?

You discredited attacks on RFK because it came from CNN, it was 100% factual.

You're preaching to the choir on Democratic leadership being terrible. There's more agreement on that in this forum than on the answer to 2+2.

Maddow constantly selects, emphasizes and completely omits details to fit a broader story that aligns with progressive viewpoints. She frequently speculates on worst-case scenarios, presenting them as if they were highly probable even when the evidence is pretty thin.

I discredited attacks on RFK because instead of debating his actual concerns. I don't remember discrediting CNN but if I did it was because them and others painted him as an extremist to shut down discussion and dismiss all of his views, even when he brought up some legitimate concerns. The way he's portrayed on many outlets ignored nuance and intentionally distorted his views while also colluding to lock him out of the race and the debates. There were legitimate reasons to talk about RFK that people here shut down immediately because it didn't fit their narrative.

Who?

As far as I can tell she's almost never discussed. I've seen a few clips get shared.

This strikes me as a projection, clear and simple.

It really is.

It's flat out disingenuous horseshit.
