The funny thing about Levin is he was a Never Trumper and supported Cruz in the 2016 primaries. He said he'd never vote for Trump in a general election.  Just like we saw in all the Fox host text

You should have really added "Duh!" to the end of that.

OK, not even sure where to begin with this one! But here's an attempt at a deeper dive at understanding why conservatives are so much happier than liberals. Mostly looking at how persistent the gap is in survey data rather than extrapolating too much.

For simplicity sake, liberals are less happy living under a fascist regime than conservatives…

There seems to be too much miss-information leading people to make bad choices.  Take the love MAGA had for killing affirmative action.  The media was presenting DEI as giving black people a fair chance in the workplace.  Why?  Discrimination.  WTF!!  MAGA stood strong for taking away DEI jobs.  The aspect of black families losing jobs they needed help to get and the hardship on these black families would face was...they never really talk about that.

Then MAGA finds out, because it became public knowledge that the majority of DEI hires were white women, Black people ranked 5th.   Now, they have to view families losing jobs they needed and the hardships on these black families would face losing healthcare and retirement benefits.

Voters have to be very careful about accepting what politicians say without thinking it thru.  It is like all the poor souls who lost their lives because someone told them Covid wasn't real dangerous.  Just get some Hydroxychloroquine.  They watched their loved ones die, then saw the one who told them that spend $850,000.00 on medicine to get rid of Covid when he got it.

Me.  You.  All of us are repeatedly put in the position of having to fight each other as the solution to our problems.  The government is supposed to serve us.  Very, very simple things are turned into life or death political issues.  Healthcare.  We have some of the best research and medical phystlities in the world, but they have us fighting over who deserves to receive it.  That's ridiculous.  This is our motherland.  What mother has her children fight over who gets to eat dinner, go to the doctor, get educated.

Sadly for us, each one tells us the other one is hell bent on ruining the country.

Nuclear Bomb?  No problem, we'll go bomb their nuclear bomb factory.  :654_bomb::654_bomb::654_bomb::654_bomb:

tl:dr

Spoiler

That's why you keep falling for the same old shit.

It's certainly a cult. As a kid I used to read about Nazi Germany and struggle to understand how regular people stood by and watched all of that evil happen. I get it now.

I remember talking to my grandmother who said she never thought someone like Hitler could take power in America, but after seeing the Tea Party protests she said she wasn’t so sure anymore.

Turns out humans motivated by hate, grievance, and feelings of victimhood suck regardless of time period. I'm slowly learning not to think of us as any smarter than our predecessors.

The world has experienced these things before.  The battles of the rich.  They cook it all up so it smells like it's made for us, but in the end.  SOS the rich get richer.  They decide the price of everything.  After you get 25M, 50M, 100M you can do whatever you want on this planet.  They need more!

R.R.Martin wrote a book about it.  Good book too, you could really feel the manipulation and the craftiness of the characters.

They say Putin is one of the richest men in the world.  A couple of days ago he said he was interested in getting in the fight in Iran.  Now everybody has been saying his army is shit.  Can't beat up Ukraine, but he flying down to Africa to fight.

They are making idiots of us.
