County election officials in Georgia cannot delay or decline to certify election results, a state judge ruled Monday, dealing a blow to an effort by conservatives in the critical battleground state to gain the legal right to reject results based on a suspicion of fraud or abuse.

 

“Election superintendents in Georgia have a mandatory fixed obligation to certify election results,” Fulton County Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney wrote in an 11-page ruling. “Consequently, no election superintendent (or member of a board of elections and registration) may refuse to certify or abstain from certifying election results under any circumstance.”

You're a lawyer, right?  Don't you think it's important to take things in the correct context?  Isn't it completely necessary to interpret one's statement as accurately as possible before coming to an ultimate conclusion? 

I didn't have time to look at the full clips and track down the exact question Trump was answering but I had a hunch that it was taken out of context. 

This is a serious problem on both sides (I'm being SUPER GENEROUS here).  The demonization of Trump by the media and their super video editors is nothing short of disgusting. 

I say this to you because you seem quite reasonable and you seem to have a firm grasp on reality unlike some people on this board. 

For the sake of integrity, please watch this clip.  If you would like to do the hard work and look up the original clips, I invite you to do so.  I fished a 3 hour video for the exact clip that another person took Trump out of context a couple days ago.  Most people don't have time to look for every clip in context.  That's why it's imperative that news orgs and commentators are as truthful as possible.  This isn't about politics.  It we cannot have a common ground on what truth is, we cannot have a civilized discussion and debates will be utterly useless for future conversations.

As I pointed out before:  based on past speeches and statements of Trump and other MAGA leaders… the phrase  “radical left lunatics” (or some variation thereof) has been their default go-to accusation for ANY  American who dares to voice opposition or criticism of the MAGA agenda.  
 

Again, we’re talking about HIS words….not mine.  These words came straight from Trump’s mouth…which he soon reiterated and expanded on with the very same phrase.  
 

You can certainly take the position that his use of the phrase “radical left lunatics” meant something completely different from the other 10,000 times where he’s used that phrase in the past.    But personally, I think he said what he meant and meant what he said. 
 

And if Trump is afforded an opportunity to do exactly what he’s saying ….then none of what we’re talking about will even matter.   Because those of us “radical left lunatics” who oppose such tactics all be rounded up and awaiting military tribunals…and the past 250 years will all be for naught.

As much as I like Trump, I simply don't have time to watch all of his rallies, podcasts appearances, and interviews that he's being doing nonstop for the last couple weeks. 

I think it's important to take people's words in context.  I trust Megan Kelly and she actually shows more of the clips of the interview and speech in context.  I invite you to watch with an open mind.

Micklethwait tried to explain the actual impact. "Three-trillion worth of imports and you will add tariffs to every single one of them, and push up the cost for all of these people to buy foreign goods," he said. "That is just simple mathematics." 

 

That is a 300 billion dollar tax increase. Why is the media not outright saying this is what he wants to do?

Trump isn't afraid of hostile interviews. He doesn't trust the video editors of the liberal media. As he shouldn't.  Just as CNS edited Kamala to put her in a positive view, the same editors will mash up tape to put Trump in a bad light.
