My main handyman is from El Salvador.  He used to be my gardener but we reunited somehow when he moved into my new neighborhood.  

He doesn't charge too much more than material cost but I make sure to compensate him for his work.

I actually don't know his status but he knows where I stand and he believes a lot of the same things I do.  I don't know where you're from but not all Immigrants are the same.  And just because you have had good experiences does not take away from others who have had their lives turned upside down.  

I mentioned this already but my old church building was right smack dab in the middle of MS-13 territory. Them and 18th Street were terrorizing the streets close to where I'm at. I have had friends get mugged, my liberal nephew just got assaulted the other day(he hates LA btw), I was playing basketball at a school and I witnessed a drive by and a car chase after the drive by failed. Years ago, I've seen what I can only imagine was a sex trafficking victim get picked up in the alleyway by two men in a van. I saw her the expression in her eyes while she was getting picked up and almost begging them not to force her in.  I never felt so powerless as the gates were in between myself and them (not that I would have done anything about it).  I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.  My contractor was held up at gun point by another gang called, Florencia 13.  I compensated them for their losses because I could not afford for the job to be delayed.  Violence isn't an every day occurrence for me.  But it is something that I am aware of and I do practice prejudice when I'm walking the streets. You'd be stupid not to here.. when safety is concerned, woke bullshit goes out the window real fucking quick.  

The problem with the illegal immigration is not as simple as "I had cool neighbors who I'm assuming was undocumented."  I'm glad you had a great experience with them.

But there are a number of reasons Illegal Immigration is bad...

#1. It sets a precedent.  Once other citizens of foreign countries hear that it's super easy to get into the US as long as you have money. There will be no limit to the number of people going through.  How many people can the United States absorb?  Can we absorb the entire world?  We absorbed roughly 10 million within the last 3 and half years.  What's the limit?  Is there even a limit? 

#2. It renders the laws useless. Why even have laws unless we refuse to enforce it?  

 

#3. Sets up a business for Human/Sex Trafficking.  A lot of stuff happen that does not get reported in the news. Cartel and Coyotes destroy the lives of young women and children.  And yes, the United States still have pedos. 

 

#4. Illegal Immigrant Criminals mostly eat their own.  Yes, white victims like Laken Riley make the news where they were killed by illegal immigrants.  But for each Laken Riley, there are dozens of minority victims murdered, raped, and terrorized by many illegals who the US does not keep tabs on.  

#5. Many of them Do not Assimilate.  If we do not teach our people the values of America and our constitution, how can we consider them a part of our country?  Just because we give them an ID and allow them to vote does not help them to understand what it takes to be an American.  It's not a race problem.  It's a culture problem.  And yes, Haitians have admitted that they do practice voodoo and eating cats is a normal part of their culture.  My country of origin ate dogs.  That does not make me a self hater.  It's the truth.  American used to have slaves like most other countries.  That doesn't mean I'm anti-American.  That's just the truth.  

#6. Illegal Immigration CHEAPENS the Immigration of those who chose to do it the RIGHT WAY.
Taking Illegal Immigrants without enforcing immigration laws is a slap in the face of all those who did it the right way by applying for visas or green cards, waiting for the time to get accepted or going through the right procedures or protocols to get the privilege of becoming a resident or a citizen.  I bet you, if anyone cut in front of you at Costco, not a single one of you will be okay with it.  Why is it okay when immigrant do that to each other? 

 

I know you and Isn'tLifeFunny have your own experiences and I'm sorry for your loss @IsntLifeFunny. I'm not going to pretend to know what you went through.  I might not even be a bigger man than you and I might have a lot of hatred in my heart if someone killed my dad.  

But just because you guys are bigger people does not mean that experiences of myriads of other Americans (including other minorities) is any less important.  

For example, for those who live in Springfield, OH.  As a realtor, I cannot even imagine what having 40-50% increase in population would do to the housing cost in that town.  Rent as well as Property value will be way overpriced for those who have lived in that town for decades.  Simple supply and demand... 

I'm spamming again but I hope some of you will actually see some reasoning in my arguments.

I know people who have lost everything in the hurricane, I legit live within 20 minutes of these places. FEMA is blocking supplies like food and water, nobody is donating to them anymore, the $750 is just a loan and that's if you qualify for it. Everyone around here hates Kamala, even on the NC side.

It isn’t a loan now and it wasn’t a loan when I got FEMA aid following the Nashville flood of 2010. It doesn’t need to be paid back.
 

It just comes from the Small Business Administration and you go through an application process that makes it appear a little like a loan. I assume because of the prospect of fraudulent claims. Still, definitely not a loan regardless of the propaganda you cling to.
