Lamar wheels are more important to Henry's success than his OL.  People forget how long Bettis ran behind the Steeler OL and he is not the player than Henry is or was.  Henry is in phenomenal shape and does not have high tread on him.  2000 carries in 8 yrs for a HOF RB is not high mileage.

Arguing about it in the summer does not matter, but he was still productive on a bad team with a horrible OL and only got 280 carries.  People think 280 is a lot.  It is not.  I think the division he is in flux.  Cleveland D will be worse.  Pitts D is not great but they upgraded their O.  Cincy has a lot questions and Burrow has to stay healthy.  Henry has always put marks on those teams outside of Pittsburgh.

Week one will be a tough out but week 2-11 he won't be facing a great run D at all.  His first real test after week one will be week 11.   He might have 1000 yds by that week with the run Ds he faces.  Weeks 12-15 also look like cream puffs games.

The way this schedule looks I think 1250-1750 is likely if he stays healthy.  He is going to be the best closing RB in the AFC north.  Chubb is not going to be the same after his injury.  Pitts RB is way overrated.  Cincy RB is a committee.  His two games against Pitts are late and that will likely be the best run D he faces.  I am not too sure this board has really looked at the Raven schedule.  It is not a difficult schedule.

You willing to take that 383 carry a year for the next 3 years bet?

Edit: if your life savings is to much how about 10 bucks for the board?

I'll even make 100 to 1 odds for you.

I just looked at CJ stats, and Henry in two less yrs has less carries and more yards.  Henry isn't like any another RB I have seen.

This idea that Henry has a lot of tread wear just isnt so.  I'm glad he is out to get a chance to win but I have a sense Levis is going to hit big.

TN needs one more good draft to really have a good roster.

If they were to win this year it would remind me of the SF yr they drafted a whole new secondary and won the division after winning two games the yr before or the early 80s Raiders or Skins.  Teams that were incomplete but went on runs who had a lot of adversity.

I have a strong feeling Levis is going to really continue to shock to the upside but he is going to be volatile.

That early SF team had to make a trade in season to get a vet DE when they saw how good that secondary was and that lit a fuse.  They did not have much talent on O outside of Montana.  But that yound defense secondary was filthy and they believed.

TC will be a tell with this team.

Earl Campbell career trajectory is the opposite of Henry.  He started fast but he was done by yr five.  Henry is still killing it.    I'm looking forward to this year.

Just have a feeling about Levis.  The more I watch last yr and listen to him and see him leading this bunch in the offseason.  Something is different with him.

Henry is way ahead of EG too.  EG had 800 more carries and only 900 yds more than Henry has now.  Henry is way more durable than all the best backs this team has had.  Emmitt Smith is the one guy who lasted and was a mule.  He has 2400 more carries right than Henry and 9000 more yards but that 2400 carries is more than Henry has now.

If Baltimore puts a decent OL in front of him I think Henry is going over 15K easy.  If he stays healthy he may really do better.  Emitt avg 1100 yds the last 9 yrs.  I think Henry can match it.

I am rooting for him.  Not the Ravens but Henry is such a great dude and he works like Jerry Rice.  So unusual to see a RB like him.

Youre an idiot.  What Henry did last yr behind that OL would have given him 2000 behind the Ravens OL.

Henry is going to have a monster next two years with Lamar.

You're. Year.

You have to show the big man some love.

Deserves much respect, he does.

NFL Media continues to take the hatchet to a lot of their shows and media personalities.

There's so much content available it is difficult to afford highly paid professionals.

It doesn't help most national media shows act like it's 1998 and just skim over everything and provide no real substance most of the time.

It makes sense fans would gravitate to either team specific shows or ones that actually dive into the topics they cover.
