begooode
Just relieved the security camera data was preserved so we can see the FBI planting evidence. Backpacks, who knows what was in them. Regardless, Trump demands those contents retuned to him too, and he told us he's a legitimate person, so this is all the judge needs to consider. Trumpers need a good crash and burn with dear leader and his acolytes/wannabes and afterwards the gop needs to push the reset button and to determine what they want to be about -- and then LEAD that way, including wresting some level of control from their media bubble they've fostered. reo
Ex-Trump Lawyer Says Evidence Is ‘Overwhelming’ July 28, 2023 at 8:14 am EDT By Taegan Goddard 69 Comments Former Trump White House lawyer Ty Cobb said the evidence against the former president over his handling of classified documents was now “overwhelming” and would “last an antiquity”, after new charges were filed in the case on Thursday, The Guardian reports. Said Cobb: “I think this original indictment was engineered to last a thousand years and now this superseding indictment will last an antiquity. This is such a tight case, the evidence is so overwhelming.” https://politicalwire.com/2023/07/28/ex-trump-lawyer-says-evidence-is-overwhelming/ TLDR: He's fucked unless someone does something corrupt or he delays long enough and wins in 2024. I dunno. I think it's a least partly just his terrified ranting bc he doesn't know what else to do. I bet he days the exact same things to anyone around him all day every day. begooode
Again the Bulwark has published an AI voiced audio reading of the superceding indictment on the top secret documents case. Fast forwarding through the legalese, it’s around 45 minutes of details laid out with thorough timelines. Listening to this, anyone associated with this scheme who is not cooperating will likely see significant time in prison. Trumpers won’t listen to the indictment because they don’t want to hear the truth, the facts, and instead want to baselessly scream unfair persecution. The indictment even includes several comments from Trump, railing about national security of documents (recall his attacks against Brennan). Trump’s own words are being used against him to ensure even a sympathetic juror will have to listen to Trump effectively hang himself. I still cannot believe a blatantly dismissive and stupid criminal such this was president of the United States — elected by the party of personal responsibility, rule of law accountability, and “character counts”. The guy’s even too big of a fool to be a decent mob boss. https://www.thebulwark.com/podcast-episode/bonus-episode-listen-to-the-superseding-indictment/ https://megaphone.link/WWO1677839935 MadMax, ChemEngr79, IsntLifeFunny, and 1 other 3

Number9
Before DT was elected, he was known to have lawsuits against him for his crooked dealings. Now, he has the United States Court System tied up with lawsuits. Lawyers repping him get disbarred. He has stained the political system in America. He has convinced millions of Americans our election system is rigged. He shouldn't even he allowed to run. Sadly, he's the top choice of the GOP. Anyone who loves this great country of ours should be against him even running.
ctm
He's more than entitled to run. Nothing in the law prohibits it. If voters are stupid enough to vote for someone who tried to overthrow the govenment, it's on them. Omar

If voters are stupid enough to vote for someone who tried to overthrow the govenment, it's on them. Quite the opposite of prohibiting it actually. The law is specifically designed to allow it just so an out of control administration can't drum up fake felony charges on someone's main rival to keep him out of office. Granted that's not what's happening here but that is why the law is the way it is and as it should be imo. To keep him out of office the public has to know what he did and keep him out. Number9
Good points, I just mean Americas shouldn't even want him in leadership of any party. The Democrat base would never support anyone this deplorable. There is a serious flaw in the Republican party. Since the early 1900's the Republicans were the party of the rich. Low taxes and less spending for public health-education-welfare. The ideals of their party don't include doing anything for the people who vote for them. Less taxes. Less public services. Less public health services. Real Republicans can afford all these things. MAGA uses them/needs them. Less taxes means very little to the MAGA. It's a hollow victory because the loss of public services effects them so, so much more. Imagine Covid 19 without all the government research and funding of our university system. The rich would be able to afford whatever treatments private medicine created. The people-average Americans 58% are living paycheck to paycheck. That percentage is even higher for MAGA's. They could not. It is sad to even type this knowing that is where mentally these people are. The robots took their jobs. AI isn't even interested in what they do now. The world is moving fast and sticking their head in the ground only puts them further behind. This man does the foul deed and leaves his people to clean up. People working for him are serving time, disbarred from practicing their professions and ridiculed in the circles they lived in. MAGA watches and says, "Gawd sent him". Yeah, Right.
