I'll say it.  WTF would anyone want to acquire and pay Lamar Jackson?  He's not come close to his 2019 season production wise and for as much grief as people give guys like Tannehill, Cousins, and Dak

Lamar got tagged on March 7th before free agency opened and didn't receive the first offer.  The calendar isn't his problem.    It's his recent performance, cost, injury history, and the fac

This will not end the way Jackson expects it to. He needs to get a clue AND get an agent.

Would imagine it would of come as a surprise to Jackson and his "Agent" Mother how quickly so many teams have reportedly ruled themselves out of the running to make him an offer.

I’m not saying they should go for Lamar. I’m saying there is little I can think of that would benefit these teams from public ally declaring they aren’t going after Lamar.

I kind of agree with this. better to stay quiet.

I'm not picking on you but why the hell do you need to include this in your post.  It has absolutely nothing to do with Lamar Jackson at all.

Incoherent babbling as always. Its always funny when terrible posters don't realize they are terrible. In this case we've been making fun of his bitch ass for over a decade and yet he thinks he's fighting the good fight. Can't make this shit up lol.

Especially the teams who still need a QB. The only reason I can think of is to try and get ahead of any media hype which might be a distraction and an unnecessary disappointment for gullible fans.

Some could also just be lying/playing hard ball on it.

Lest we forget....when LJ became the starter, Harbaugh completely retooled the team's offensive philosophy and identity and tailored everything around his skill set.    Very few NFL coaches would ever consider making such a change.

Every NFL coach is convinced that his system and philosophy give his team the best chance of winning a championship;  I suspect very few have interest in a QB that would force fundamental changes to their philosophy.    Especially not a  QB who has been increasingly injury prone and whose effectiveness and production have declined steadily in the past 2-3 years.

That's why they lowballed him, or so he thought.  He gave the Ravens a MVP year.  The best record in the AFC.  He had them right in the thick of things.  The NFL is a business.  Fans come to see a show, exciting football.  The Ravens got their money's worth out of Lamar.  He made millions and he could have made more millions if he had signed the deal they offered.

We just had a run.  The Mariota run.  I always say that for people to understand the team was built for him.  A lot of players, good players were brought in.  NFL.  Second contracts hurt every teams cap and the teams will decline-Unless Mariota had been a true franchise QB.

People talk about lost players like that doesn't happen to other teams.  The Steelers had to finally replace Ben.  Look at all the players who got paid when they left the Steelers while Ben was there.  Top talent they couldn't afford to keep.  One day the Bills will face it.  Tampa Bay.  New Orleans.  Then there are organizations like the Patriots.  Seattle is moving back up.  The Ravens.

The Mariota run is long in the tooth.  JRob did a masterful job getting as much out of it as he did.

Watch the Ravens/Steelers/Patriots going forward.  They will get QBs.

People got to understand it takes talent to win in the league and talent costs money.

Are poison pills still a thing in NFL contracts? If it comes down to it, Lamar might be happy to accept a deal less in guarantees than Watson's but not in Baltimore, and it would be one way to ensure they can't really match it.

No chance he plays under the tag and no team is giving to give him the money he wants ultimately he’s gonna see that when no team bites and he’ll hold out all the way through camp. In my opinion he’ll be a raven in the end
