I just met Willis' cousin in Krogers.  He was buying a Titans football.  He and his family just drove up from Atlanta to see Willis play tonight.  A very nice young man.   pro

This guy is as raw as a steak on the deli counter but he has elite speed, one of the strongest arms of the last few drafts, and apparently interviews super well.  Perfect guy to take a flier on and gr

Tannehill is about to turn 34 and has 2 years left on his contract. If this kid can develop for a couple of years and they think he’s ready to replace Tannehill in a year or 2 then it’s a huge steal.

Too bad the argument was NOT the Titans would draft a QBOTF on day 2 or 3 if one fell.....it was that the Titans were determined to replace Tannehill and that they would use an early pick on one to be the unquestioned starter in 2024.  Now this is not the first time nor the last time you'll lie about stuff on here - it's your MO.

The hysterical thing is that QB class in 2022 was awful as most of us pre-draft pointed out and that Willis and Ridder in particular were extremely overhyped.  It was clear on draft night that Willis was nowhere near capable of being an NFL starting QB anytime soon and was zero threat to Tannehill.

Seems like I remember one post that claimed Ridder was on the short list for the Titans first pick.

That's untrue.  People were saying we would take a QB in the first two rounds, since the projections were that these guys would all be gone in those rounds.  Nice rewriting of history...

Well you're just wrong and projecting your "rewriting history" bs by doing it yourself right now.

I definitely said we could go after one in the frst 3-4 rounds. ... as did several others.

Dude, all of the 'top' QBs were projected to be gone by the 3rd round.  Lol.  Willis was supposed to be the first QB taken.

Lol, at what point in the offseason??

Come the last two months before the draft everyone was saying these guys sucked and unless there was a very needy team early... that these guys would lkely come off the board starting round 2.

ON THIS BOARD... people were saying round 3-4.

Which is the whole purpose of the argument.
