But now you know why he fought so hard to avoid going through with his purchase. He didn’t really want it once he realized what he had agree to buy. It works in China where the people aren’t given much choice in platforms and the government wants large do it all platforms so they can monitor everyone easily. In the western world, there are already lots of online payment options and lots of choice. I was considering if Putin fits in with this due to Musk talking to him for Starlink, etc. Twitter was a tool for the masses for at least he Arab Spring. Dictators don't like the old social media.
