I honestly don't know if Russia cares about the sanctions because their economy sucks anyways, they need Ukraine badly and Europe will still need natural gas and energy from Russia regardless how this plays out. Reo brings up a good point about China then taking over Taiwan. They just want Taiwan's computer chip manufacturing and they could could resupply Russia with them.
