Not a fun week. For me it was fucking up my shoulder the week before and letting the coaches know. They didn’t care. I was the number 1 DT and mostly played 1 tech. I wasn’t the most athletic but my technique was great when it came to understanding leverage. They held me out one series, gave up a TD, and of course put me in. I made 3 straight tackles. On the 3rd one I stood up the center, hit the FB, and this big SOB they had a TB came right off his hip on 3rd and 3 and hit my open shoulder with his face mask. I heard it pop and then as I made the tackle heard it pop back in when I landed. Ended my time as a football player with that one. The ride back on the bus was a bitch.
