nine
So what’s the end game? Iran will likely be plunged into socioeconomic chaos and infighting….which Iran media and other Muslim nations will blame squarely on the US and Israel. The Khameni regime will eventually be replaced by another similarly anti-US regime with equally fervent messaging and support for anti-American and anti-Israel terrorist groups….which will likely proliferate in the aftermath of the current offensive. And the cycle starts all over again, So do we just put Iran on a regular bombing rotation and wipe out their government every 12-18 months until they come up with one more to our liking? I tend to take a separatist view of the Middle East. That entire region of the world has been a cliusterfuck of various ethnic, religious and tribal warfare since the dawn of time…and America’s attempts at intervention have only made matters worse. At no point in recorded history has the Middle East ever known peace for any meaningful period; war, conflict, and terror are simply facts of life. The less governmental involvement and entanglement we have with that region, the better off we are as a nation. But instead, Trump decided to once again throw fuel on the fire, thus ensuring the region’s hatred of American imperialism will remain alive and well and stronger than ever, Callidus, ChemEngr79, and MadMax

You're ok with state sponsored terrorism. Every Iranian I see/know has praised Trump. Have you noticed Iran now just throwing missiles everywhere? IsntLifeFunny
This does absolutely nothing to stop the terrorist network Iran has created. Nothing. If anything it destabilizes, fractures it, and makes it much more dangerous. Sorry, idiots, it doesn't just work like good guys take out the bad guys, and the good guys are gonna win! IsntLifeFunny
Iran has built an entire defensive apparatus over 45 years waiting for what happened on Saturday. They have terror cells all over the world as well as a massive infrastructure of paramilitary groups in 7 countries. Those don't evaporate by cutting off the head. That's what bothers me so much about Trumpers. Okay, we get it, Iran, nukes, evil, terror!! Okay, so you killed their leadership. Alright got it. So, any plans about what to do afterwards or the cascading effects? No? Then stfu and stop speaking about it. MadMax, and Omar

Every Iranian I see/know has praised Trump. Have you noticed Iran now just throwing missiles everywhere? Most neutral Middle East countries are behind the US and Isreal destroying that regime. So you're good with another drawn-out Afghanistan situation? If the United States has a plan to help support Iran through their post-Khameni transition and improve the quality of life for the Iranian people... hey, great; let's hear it. But of course, Trump and Hegseth have already admitted no such plan exists. Their plan was to put on a great big show of force to punish the Khameni regime and take them out....and that's about it. That's the extent of their plans. They've admitted they don't have any sort of timeline or exit plan in mind; they'll just keep bombing and blowing shit up until Trump gets bored and decides to stop. Or maybe Trump decides boots on the ground would be a bigger and more impressive show of force... rolling into Tehran with troops, tanks and heavy armor. Of course, this approach would dramatically increase the casualties and loss of life for Americans and Iranians alike....but on the other hand it would make for much better TV and better ratings. And Trump LOVES a good show......it's quite the quandary for him. It's incredible to me that we're talking about a sitting POTUS who bypassed Congress to wage war on another country....and he thinks it's a friggin' video game. Like he can just play until he either wins or he gets bored and leaves...... leaving the Iranian people to twist in the wind and figure things out on their own. I also think Trump seriously expected Iranians everywhere to suddenly break into song and dance after Khameni's death. I imagine he envisioned a scene like the Wizard of Oz with the munchkins all dancing around and rejoicing once they learned the wicked witch was dead. I'm sure that's probably what he pictured happening....and he can't for the life of him figure out why it didn't work out that way.
