Friday's deadline for strikes on Iran's power plants extended by Trump to April 6.

Double TACO

There's a part in all of this that is the madman strategy Nixon ran against Vietnam. It lines up with the Roy Cohn strategy in some ways of continually bluffing.

The problem is this strategy doesn't work in this situation as we haven't invaded. That's a threat. Even the US buildup to take Kharg Island is still a threat. Those are not enough to make them believe. And then if you make them believe with kinetic action that includes a ground assault, well now you've entered full scale war and there's no backing down.

All of that to say, I believe the idiot thinks he's running strategy with all of this, which in and of itself is dangerous. He's insulated himself from the intelligence apparatus. He doesn't trust any generals he hasn't handpicked and overseen. His already deteriorated mind is trying to juggle the stock market and negotiations on a war we entered without a strategy.

You voted for no war.  Trump brought war.     You voted to root out and expose corruption.  Trump has been the most openly and shamelessly corrupt President in US history.    You voted t

yeah, i don't care about Trump's deadline. It's Netanyahu pushing his troops to hit all targets within 48hrs that I'm more worried about.

Today's stock market made him panic.  He has no viable way out and he knows it, thus one lie after another.  Whatever pops into his head, he says.

Democrats need to be primaried over this type of incompetence.

Axios: "Said a senior House Democrat: "Everyone's freaked out, but we didn't have the people here to pass it. … No point in bringing up a resolution that's going to fail because we have an attendance problem"

This is their reasoning for waiting until mid April to bring a resolution against the war in Iran. There's no mechanism that stops them from doing it again just because they do one now. So what they lost the last one. What are they thinking and signaling?

Jefferies and Shumer are in the Epstein Files and are backed by AIPAC. They need to be removed.

No one said we could get to 50k on the DOW? LOL, this guy is so stupid. Of course it would get to 50.

Dementia

It wasn't dementia when he bankrupted his casinos.  It was stupidity.  Who opens a business and then opens 3 more just like it down the street all to compete with each other?  Not to mention they were hotels who catered to bus loads of gamblers who were there for the day, left after the day and didn't book hotel rooms.

His pause to circuit through the brain and find the term "indices" was something to watch. I have to give him credit he didn't completely fuck it up, but you could tell it was tough sledding to pull that one from the labyrinth.

I hope someone explains how the US military solves this without a full ground invasion of 500k troops to end the regime. This ain't Libya where air strikes are going to get it done. Libya was secular. Gaddafi ran the show. Same with Saddam. Iran has 15,000 mullahs.

AP: Lloyd’s List says tolls are paid in yuan, China’s currency

“Iran’s IRGC has imposed a de facto ‘toll booth’ regime in the Strait of Hormuz,” says shipping information firm Lloyd’s List Intelligence.

Normally ships use a two-lane shipping channel in the middle of the strait. But increasingly, vessels are taking a different route, to the north around Larak Island, placing them in Iran’s territorial waters and closer to the Iranian coastline.

Entities that want their vessels to safely pass through must submit their details to what Lloyd’s List Intelligence refers to as “approved intermediaries” of the Revolutionary Guard, including the cargo, owners, destination and a complete crew list. Approved vessels receive a code and are escorted by an IRGC vessel. Oil is prioritized and vessels are subject to “geopolitical vetting,” Lloyd’s said.

“While not all ships are paying a direct toll, at least two vessels have and the payment is settled in yuan,” Lloyd’s List said, referring to the Chinese currency.

Some ships appear to have been allowed through following diplomatic pressure. Two Indian vessels loaded with liquid petroleum gas have been able to pass, according to Lloyd’s.
