Meanwhile, all this is happening while isreal is taking over southern Lebanon, blowing up bridges, destroying civilian homes, and ultimately expanding it’s military bases…tell me you guys don’t see what’s happening what I’ve been saying this “war” has been about. Israel wants complete control in the Middle East, it wants to expand for a “greater Israel” into Iran, into Lebanon. They want the us to send in troops, get involved in a 10 plus year war, while Israel invades Lebanon and drives further north, in the end, Israel will tell the us it’ll take over in the Middle East, opening bases while wanting the Americans out.

Israel physically can’t expand into Iran and they can’t control the Middle East. As far as Iran is concerned, they just want to eliminate their greatest threat, which is the current Iranian government (between missiles and funding terrorism).

And they don’t want our troops out of the Middle East. They NEED us there for protection.

But they are invading Lebanon and attacking Palestinians in the West Bank in order to expand their direct control over their occupied territory. And any future democratic American government needs to hold them to account.

RAHAT, Israel — The Iran-backed Houthi group in Yemen said it launched an attack against Israel for the first time since the start of the U.S.-Israeli war with Iran, risking further escalation in the month-long conflict that has engulfed the Middle East.

The Houthis also released a statement saying the group carried out its “first military operation” in support of Iran, using “a barrage” of ballistic missiles to target Israeli military sites.

For the first month of the conflict, Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi militants largely stayed out of it. Their action to join in is significant as it appears to add another front to the war and raises the prospect of further disruption to shipping, which has already seen energy prices spike and global markets roiled after Iran’s effective closure of the Strait of Hormuz.

During the war in Gaza, the Houthis became a disruptive force among Iran-backed proxy groups, launching more than 100 missile and drone attacks on commercial shipping in the Red Sea from their stronghold in Yemen’s north.

It's just a matter of time before they try and close the Red sea.

If the Democrats fuck this up, which I watched today, then we for real deserved all of it. If they can't capitalize on this momentum then we as a people did this to ourselves.

I've been a bit under a rock so far this year, so I'm not keeping up with nearly anything as much I as I had been.

But it seems like most democrats are just keeping quiet and letting this all play out until the midterms because they really have nothing to gain besides showing good faith efforts in trying to govern. I'm hoping they're just ready to get in line and really have a strategy come fall.

Could that be me hoping for the best at something so simple? Probably. Occam's Razor, though.

Really hoping that they can get a Kelly or Beshear type to take the lead. Shapiro or Newsome could do the job as well, but there's still a risk with them being too tied up with the old guard of the DNC. There's plenty of others capable of carrying the message and would make great running mates and cabinet members in the new guard. I'm also hopeful that Pelosi & Schumer get the hint that they no longer matter.

Trying to be positive in this shit show of times. And again, admittedly been living under a rock in terms big picture updates lately.

What I know is Obama was getting hung in effigy while his wife was called a tranny. He stuck with coalition building.

And Earl gleefully perpetuates the idiocy of Michelle being a tranny.   It's such dumbassery.
