Everyone on this board is just watching this happen in amazement. Literally all they had to do was give them one recycled reason and they're back on board. They're like fans a failing franchise who just drafted Shaduer Sanders in the 5th round and now theyre convincing themselves that they're back baby! Jesus fucking Christ.... It's frustrating because they represent the whole, not just the majority. If they didn't it would be easier to ignore, but it does nothing to engage, which is also annoying. It's just the June strikes on steroids but changes little mid to long term other than give Iran a reputational win as far as looking a lot stronger than some may have thought they were. Destroying a lot of their military hardware is good, but have they actually degraded their ability to fund terrorism? have they done anything to make their leadership want to change course? I don't think Trump and co would have any qualms with resuming it at some other random time. The fact they did this at all seems to indicate they'd pick it back up again despite the many obvious reasons not to, because those same reasons all pretty much existed a few weeks ago too, so why not just ignore them again. The real question is, does Iran actually back off on militarizing the strait? that may be something that only gets known when tested.
