Always keep in mind that the liberal nutcases here have all the information and have done hundreds of negotiations with the Iranian regime.

It shows when they quote randos from TikTok or other social media where all the information is 100% correct.

Trump and Hegseth were fully convinced Iran would be another Venezuela/Maduro operation:  just a quick strike to chop off the head of the snake, allowing the US (and Israel) to quickly assume control of Iran and call the shots for the entire region.

Instead, their “quick strike”  operation quickly spun out of control and turned into a full-blown war: hundreds / thousands of missile and drone strikes on US military bases and America’s allies and a complete shutdown of the Strait of Hormuz.

This led to a massive disruption in global oil markets and supply chains, dramatically spiking oil and gas prices worldwide.

Trump and Hegseth not only failed to foresee and prepare for what happened….they’ve openly admitted they didn’t even see it as a possibility:  an absolutely stunning acknowledgement of their own shortsightedness and incompetence.

The fact that they admitted this just amplifies and underscores their incompetence even further:  not only were their statements an admission of incompetent leadership…. they’re too dumb and incompetent to understand that they openly admitted to being dumb and incompetent.

Trump and Hegseth saw Iran as an operation that would be wrapped up within a few days …no more than a couple weeks.   But the operation quickly spun out of their control in the first 24–48 hours…. and six weeks later the situation has only gotten worse and there’s no light at the end of the tunnel.   Iran has assumed complete control over the Strait of Hormuz…they alone decide what traffic is allowed to pass and what tolls are levied.

Until six weeks ago, traffic had always moved freely back and forth through the Strait…tolls weren’t even a topic of conversation.   The shutdown and tolls were Iran’s direct response to the actions of the United States.

Meanwhile the US is no closer to any sort of resolution.   Trump has yet to regain any of the leverage he had in February that is now lost…..nor has he done anything to regain the respect of our allies in the EU and Middle East, who now view the United States as a toothless paper tiger led by a blowhard child-raping circus clown.

But hey… I’m just a radical TDS leftist.   Feel free to point out and refute any fallacies I’ve listed here and explain how this isn’t the disastrously incompetent leadership that the rest of the world is describing.

A gay Nazi obsessed with the antichrist, yes.

And now he's playing it off like he's a reddit poster. The layers on how far these idiots are willing to go to not be wrong is as American as it gets.

Ronery... I am so ronery....

Dictatorship and imperialism are  separate and unrelated concepts.  They sometimes go hand-in-hand… but not necessarily.

KJU is an authoritarian dictator who’s content exercising domain and full control over his own country…but doesn’t feel the need to exert power and control beyond his country’s borders.  (Aside from the 70-year pissing match standoff between NK and SK).

Same for Maduro:  for all his loudmouth saber-rattling, he never tried to invade or impose power over other countries.   He pretty much kept to himself in Venezuela.

Putin is an imperialist dictator with a history of invading other countries and regions in order to expand Russian control and influence.   Putin has clearly stated his vision and desire to re-establish the pre-Soviet/ Czar-era  Russian empire, which would include the invasion and dissolution of several smaller nations.  The very definition of an imperialist.

Xi in China is also an imperialist dictator.  Hong Kong was taken over by China  years ago;  now he has his sights set on Taiwan..

Trump is a wannabe dictator with imperialist tendencies… but his vision is all about controlling and exploiting other countries’ oil and natural resources.    From the day he was re-elected and before he even returned to office, Trump was already putting  out feelers and testing the waters to take over Canada and Greenland.

In year one Trump deposed and imprisoned Maduro from oil-rich Venezuela.  Just a few months later he’s desperately trying to project power and impose US control of oil-rich Iran… which has now backfired badly and blown up in his face, resulting in Iran gaining greater power and leverage than ever before.

He also started making noise about taking control of Cuba…although that talk has become much more muted as most of his time is spent deflecting  the ongoing embarrassments in Iran.   But the minute the Iran situation settles down and is quiet for a few days…. he’ll once again start taking about forcing out Cuban leadership so he can insert new leaders who are more aligned with the Trump family’s systemic grift and corruption.

Make no mistake… it is Trump’s greatest aspiration to be an imperialist dictator.

The problem is…he’s just really really bad at it.

Pretending you aren't taking it seriously, actually posting low tier trolls, is likely more comfortable for the psyche than trying to defend the  indefensible to such a degree that people question if you're trolling.
