There's always noise re: control of the national committee from the candidates, but do they need to get approval from candidates before announcing their debate schedules.

Former President Trump on Tuesday raised the prospect of skipping the two Republican White House primary debates that have been announced thus far, suggesting he should not have to subject himself to such scrutiny given his commanding lead in the polls.

“I see that everybody is talking about the Republican Debates, but nobody got my approval, or the approval of the Trump Campaign, before announcing them,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “When you’re leading by seemingly insurmountable numbers, and you have hostile Networks with angry, TRUMP & MAGA hating anchors asking the ‘questions,’ why subject yourself to being libeled and abused?”

I'll be voting for Trump in the republican primary.  And I'll bet a lot of other democrats are thinking the same way.

I'll be voting for Biden in the Democrat primary.   Most other Republicans are thinking the same way.

You could really throw us for a loop and vote for him in 2024. Just think about it. If he's that bad, the GOP wave in 2028 would be epic. it'd be a great way to stick it to all the liberals.

Walt Disney Co. sued Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Wednesday, alleging the Republican has waged a “relentless campaign to weaponize government power” against the company amid a protracted fight over a controversial classroom bill.

The federal lawsuit alleges that DeSantis “orchestrated at every step” a campaign to punish Disney that now threatens the company’s business.

Been fun to watch the backdrop of this shitshow with Trump with DeSantis getting outmanuevered at every point by Disney. Small man syndrome inside a brain that believes it's much more intelligent than it actually is.

You clearly have no idea what you are talking about.   It's a meritless lawsuit that will fail.   Those libtards running Disney apparently believe they are entitled to special state benefits no other company enjoys.   Still waiting on Disney to win one over DeSantis.

I've said it before, I'll say it again.   If I were Disney, I'd move out of that shit stain of a state and let them figure out how to recapture the loss of revenue they'd sustain.

I can't even imagine how much they would have to spend to build a new park somewhere else to replace their massive complex in Orlando. Not many companies would have that kind of money.

What they should do is say that they are no longer planning on investing new resources into Forida and instead focus their efforts on developing in California.
