El Guapo
https://archive.ph/VCmti So are you guys now all in on Newsome? Kamala? Petey boy? Jamalisms
Trump was bragging about man woman pen shit for the mental tests they made him take ... and he did it at the speed of a dial-up modem. A guy going through legit cognitive decline started a rumor that his opponent was going through cognitive decline and then he got his ass kicked in the debates and had to come up with excuses for it. As with many complaints people make about others, those focusing on Biden's health or mental state are projecting their insecurities about their preferred guy: Trump. But Biden is 8,000 years old and it's frankly pathetic the best idea the electorate can come up with is to keep electing dinosaurs. Apologies in advance to any elderly in this forum but even boomers are largely out of touch with the real world at this point. 80-year-olds go beyond that and simply can't relate to many aspects of modern life. Their worldview was molded, formed and cemented long ago and suffers from the same inadequacies. Some are more in touch than others, but none are really of the current age. IsntLifeFunny
Biden is old…Trump is old. Only one of the two can complete an actual sentence. Edited July 5, 2022 by IsntLifeFunny

luvyablue256
This is why Democrats can't sustain governing majorities. No fucking intra-party loyalty like the goon party. Edited July 6, 2022 by luvyablue256

I don't even blame Biden or Trump at this point. I blame the Gen-X and the "geriatric" millenials for the lack of quality younger candidates in the last 2 presidential election cycles. 2016 and 2020 had no business with 65+ year olds as front-runners, but the "must be entertained" generation doesn't believe in lifting a finger to do anything that doesn't tickle our crotches. There were some quality younger presidential candidates in 2020. Booker was my personal favorite, but also Buttigieg, Castro, Swalwell, Beto, and Yang (who I don’t feel should really count, but he ran). But there were just too many candidates and not enough oxygen. Certainly not when they were also being suffocated by all the attention going to the more established names like Biden, Bernie, and Warren. There are some good potential candidates out there. They just have to get some oxygen. Someone like Bill Clinton came out of nowhere. Obama less so, but he still was seen as a big underdog to Hillary back in 2008 before he took off. Anyway, it’s on the voters. They pick the nominees. Edited July 6, 2022 by Starkiller pamo9

The party didn’t clear the field for her, it’s just that not many people wanted to waste their time running into a buzzsaw. Biden could have run, but his son had just died. Bernie ran and provided a clear alternative to the left. O'Malley ran but got flanked on the left by Bernie. Webb ran but flamed out quickly. Chafee ran but went nowhere. Not sure who else you think was going to run to be some other great alternative. oldschool
