This is probable true. After taking back Michigan and Pennsylvania, Bernie would probably have make up the remainder with a different state.

But since you're against Socialism, you want Social Security and Food Stamps discontinued? Medicare/Medicaid?

After all, Reagan said if the US enacted Medicare, that would make us a socialist dictatorship?

Bernie won't win squat... Trump 2020!!! Trump 2024!!!

It's hard because what we are seeing is a dying party change the rules to hold onto power. The GOP is terrified of how America is changing and they know the writing is on the wall. Their last gasp eff

Here’s to hoping the establishment can squash this populist ruffian virus before our party gets fully infected the way the GOP did with Trump.

If a rolltide posts in the woods does anyone care since 75% of the board has him on ignore?

He's hostile to negative stories, sure. Hostile to bias as he sees it. That's all politicians.

But hostile to the free press as a concept? I missed that one.

Haven't heard Bernie talk about 'opening up the libel laws' to put an end to all these negative stories like you-know-who.

'Full-Scale Socialism' = An economy that is fully centrally planned.

'Full-Scale Socialism' ≠ MFA, student debt forgiveness and increases to social security benefits.

We already have a capitalist-socialist hybrid economy. Bernie wants a capitalist-socialist hybrid economy with more planning in specific areas.

We already have 'economic authoritarianism' and if you don't believe me, try not paying your taxes. You're just throwing out scare words.

You say you want 'tempered and regulated compassionate capitalism'. So maybe democratically mandated social planning should put some limits on the free market in the name of compassion? Welcome to team-Bernie.

I'm not interested in debating the issue myself.  I'm concerned about the fact that Bernie will have to.

How can this be? I'm told over and over again record numbers will turn out for Sanders.

So far we've had record turn outs in NH and Nevada. Texas early voting indicates that we'll probably see record turn outs in that primary as well. All indications are that we should expect  turn out closer to 2008 than 2016 in November. I agree that young people have been historically flaky but they like many other voters don't become fully engaged until the general which you yourself have said many times is a different animal. I really don't see how this is an effective dig at Sanders. People are turning out more than they did last time for the Hillary coronation.

Obviously, no. The point is he is on defense and this is just the beginning.

He will get attacked hard tonight in the debate. It will be a perfect showing of how well he can respond under fire.

So far, he has done a good job of deflecting and parrying any attacks.

NH most definitely hard a record turn out with 300,000 voters (old record as 288,000) I was wrong that Nevada eclipsed the 2008 numbers, it didn't. But the 2020 numbers are much stronger than the 2016 numbers and I wasn't wrong to say the turn out so far is closer to 2008 than 2016.
