We get all our mail in tubs and trays. We are literally running out of this equipment in our office because it's all being used in the plants to hold all the mail piling up in the plants.

I can't imagine what it will be like come Nov

I found this map:    https://uspstools.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=1fc1c26bb31246b39087606c65b83020

I think the squares are processing plants and circles are normal post offices. (Not you have to go about midway in the scale to start seeing the squares.) Confirm?

If the squares are the processing plants, there are not that many processing centers (for example, all of East Texas only has three squares:  Tyler, Lufkin and Beaumont), so it should affect rural areas equally to urban I assume??

You would think he could express all of his shitty thoughts and responses in a more concise manner.

They also didn't have 3.5 years worth of the train wreck known as the Trump presidency staring them in the face in 2016.

@OILERMANGo to a  Google map for 12621 FM 3311 Tyler, TX 75708 and go to street view, is that a processing plant?  If so that is what the squares are, and there are not many of them - so, Trump is probably hurting himself, and also causing economy to be worse - slow mail will slow commerce.

Yes it affects rural areas, there is no difference in the plants, it's just all the mail.

And I posted an article where Republicans were trying to tell Trump that hurting mail in ballots would hurt them more than democrats.

This isn't being done as a strategy to help Trump win, it's being done to discredit the election results imo

I 100% believe the administration knows they are going to lose the election.

Looks like to me there is going to be an issue over whether a ballot has to be delivered or just postmarked by election day.

Do states have different standards?  d/k

I know in the past our postmaster has actually delivered the ballots himself to make sure they all get postmarked by the deadline, they are treated like top secret docs!

I think what's going to happen is it's going to take a while to count them and that's going to give Trump time to start screaming fix while they are being counted

He can scream all he wants.  His term and Pence's term expire on 1/20/21 according to the 20th amendment.  He doesn't get to stay if the outcome is still unclear.

Today, I have been reading many reports that kids and adults into their 20s and 30s are freaking out about Tik Tok, as in it is the biggest crisis they have ever faced.

The threat alone is probably going to wake some of them to vote.   Imagine if he actually does it................also parents are going to be mad at him after having to hear their kids compain day after day about it.

“They understood Roosevelt was a liberal capitalist, not a socialist. “I want to save our system, the capitalist system,” he said at one point. “My desire [is] to obviate revolution,” he said at another. He was seeking to save capitalism from the capitalists, who had concentrated too much power in themselves. He was trying to reform capitalism to preserve it.”

“We’re not going to have another Roosevelt. But in a time of crisis, in an ideological age, he showed it’s possible to get a lot done if you turn down the ideological temperature, if you evade the culture war, if you are willing to be positive and openly experimental.“
