Somedude
Mckay of the Bucs in the 70s lost 26 straight games. Granted expansion teams back then only got scraps of unwanted players, unlike today where they get first to pick in the draft. The point is he lost more games. He was clueless, his QBs took an absolute beating, he threw his players under the bus, and he made excuses and when confronted with facts, he lied. Omar you & I were the ones pounding the table to get Wiz on the train out well before everybody else jumped on board. Wiz was clearly worse than Hue Jackson, I don't care if he won 2-3 games more than him. The Browns purposely eviscerated their roster & started over. The 2013 Titans were a half decent team. I'm not commending Jackson's work or anything but Id take him in a heartbeat over Wiz.
Titans279
Whiz was 3-20 beating KC and TB in the opening games and the lucky fluke win over the jags.

It would be one thing if the organization showed any competency to say blah blah coach is horrible, but that is just not the case. The man should be praised for not walking off the job, but instead actually trying to win.
Guest
Football is an inherently less patient sport. Fewer games mean fewer opportunities to make $. Also, even good quarterbacks can't transform teams overnight--excellent ones do. We need to look at other sports for the model the Browns are trying to follow. They need to be patient. Maybe not with Hue, but at least with the organization. The Astros are one recent example of how tanking can work. The Sixers started the process conversation--that looked awful until all of a sudden the talent hit and started to pan out. Now the future is bright. The Browns do look terrible and haven't had any upward mobility of late, but the new front office at least has showed flashes. I thought burning cash to get a draft pick for Brock Os was a savy move. But the are lucky that McCarron trade didn't go through. They need to save those picks. And apparently they tried to get Pryor back. What are they thinking? This is the kind of knee jerk shit that will doom them.
titansfb
Mike Mularkey when he coached the jaguars. That team was more talented than the browns though. He was trash and it’s why he nearly cries every time he talks about Mariota.

prometheus
Depending on getting a very good if not franchise QB this coming draft, the team development should lead to a division championship within 2 or maybe 3 years. That will, of course, require good draft choices to fill talent gaps -- as is the case with all teams. I do believe that this build-plan will work out well for their fans. Patience required, though. pro
