Many crypto related pages are full of people sharing stories about loved ones and collogues, including prior posters, who have committed suicide recently after putting everything into cryptocurrencies. Yeah, this is a real thing. Many big twitter people are posting messages encouraging people to talk to someone and money isn't worth losing their life over. There is a reason why many people are bitcoin maximalists because they have been burned by shitcoins in the past and have learned their lesson, myself included. Being married to a shitcoin is bad. It now sits at $0.002951. Just under 3 tenths of a penny. They even halted the god damn block chain (decentralized my ass) to prevent governance attacks. It's back up and running now, hence why the price is falling even further. This has to be Dodo Kwan's reaction to interview requests right now... For 50+ years most press and some influential economic schools have pushed the idea that inflation has a monetary cause, when data shows it has a real cause, usually supply shocks to labor and important inputs constraints, not money supply. You do realize that the money supply, cheap credit, and UBI/stimmy checks fuels demand of goods and services?
