I know things look bleak, but we have to be getting close to a bottom. Getting REALLY close to the 200 week MA. Macro is fucked, so I definitely could believe we see a dip below it, but I don't think we will stay there very long. I personally have bids under 20K.

I feel sorry for the naive losers but watching these fools that tied material amounts of large public company holdings into bitcoin is funny, especially when the companies fold and the rest of their lives might be spent defending against lawsuits.

Oman loves coming in here when he feels bad about his losses to try and feel better. ... but the reality is we are all still way up compared to home percentage wise the past 5-6 years.

First of all I've been slamming BTC this entire thread regardless of how my personal investments are doing. I'm debt free, get two pensions and won't need to touch my retirement accounts until I'm forced to take RMDs in 20+ years, I hope it keeps going down, believe that. I have a taxable account that pays dividends regardless of how the markets doing.

Second of all as @wiscotitansfan said, you may be up but the majority of people who bought into BTC did so at way higher prices than right now. The majority are def down.

Man Who Lost Everything In Crypto Just Wishes Several Thousand More People Had Warned Him

CHICAGO—Saying he had been absolutely blindsided by the sudden change in his fortunes, local 33-year-old Tyler Branton, a man who lost everything in cryptocurrencies, told reporters Thursday that he just wished several thousand more people had warned him. “If only a thousand—or even a few hundred—more friends had told me about the risks of putting my entire savings into Dickcoin, I might not be where I am today,” said Branton, decrying how no one had alerted him to the inherent instability of digital currencies except for dozens of coworkers, family members, podcast hosts, and respected economists. “Over the past few days, I’ve started to worry that all of this stuff—Web3, non-fungible tokens, even the blockchain—is just a Ponzi scheme to cheat people like me out of our money, and no one even thought to explain this to me outside of the hundreds of people I deliberately ignored. It’s really a shame that I learned all of this too late.” At press time, the relieved man had reportedly thanked social media users who spoke up to encourage him to shake off the bankruptcy and go into debt buying as many Golden Banana tokens as possible.

Since it cost $20K in electricity to make a bitcoin, it is almost 0 now.

You do realize this has to do with asic efficiency and cost of electricity? You can't be this dumb. Some miners have a 10k break even. Good news is that inefficient miners will turn off and the difficulty adjustment will kick on. It's a beautiful design.

Plenty of evidence correlating the last BTC rally with Tether printing. No surprise it was attacked just after Terra went down and momentarily lost its fake USD peg to $0.95. It was/is an unregulated scam utilized by some exchanges with ties to Terra Limited to pump the market. But now the jig is up, people are watching, and not surprisingly, the individual whales can’t move the market like they used to.
