Downtown
How have we not talked about this to great length? Does anyone here have any experience jumping in on an ICO or even have a wallet? I stupidly stayed away from bitcoin and am now regretting it. But the $7392 price its currently trading at has me investigating Ethereum for similar patterns. I just wonder if ETH could reach that same height? Would love insight! Starkiller
I don’t trust any of these crypto currencies and I wouldn’t invest in them. Bitcoin (as well as others, I’m sure) is mathematically sound and and the idea is pretty brilliant, but as a currency these things have no rational value or stability. And the founders can make a fortune as the “coins” are easy to mine early on and harder as time goes by, so it’s a bit like a pyramid scheme. woolfolksunclesuncle, OILERMAN, and Justafan 2
Popular Post heyitsmeallen
My bitcoin has been going nutssssssss! Up 70% in the last month and almost 1000% this year! Gimme the loot baby! Edit: when bitcoin was first developed I started mining it and had almost 100BTC in a wallet that I have since lost. I've been digging through my old Hard drives to try and find that shit because today it is worth close to 750k. I can't believe I lost that shit. China could hurt it by outlawing all cryptos, but Japan has adopted it as currency and many vendors are jumping onboard, so I wouldn't discount it as currency. Time will tell. The Mt.Gox hacking and Ethereum being hacked is what gives me pause for the future.

Gox, it probably got stolen either way. But insane. My buddy was using acorns to invest in ethereum early on. He is selling off most of his ethereum in incremental steps. Total worth is 12 million for him if he can exchange it all.

Yeah it was def early on back when Mining wasn't practically impossible and mostly only people on the Dark Web knew what it was. I'm sure they are gone now. I never thought BTC would make a rise after the last Robbery but I'm glad I bought back in. It's just another one of those things in life..... kind of like when I was young and I told my mom she should invest in a new up and coming web company called Google. She didn't listen to me and we could be living fucking large right now.
pat
Crypto currency is tough. It isn't as liquid as it appears to be. And the market changes rapidly. Some kind of crypto currency will emerge as an exchange currency for banks. But it likely will not be accessible to the public.
IsntLifeFunny
Blockchain is the future of all technology. Crypto currency is more than a fad, but its actual data processing and storage is the wave of the future. I’m investing in all companies who are investing in blockchain. Blockchain was developed for Bitcoin but is quickly being adapted for other uses and people even think it could be used for a new internet. (Silicon Valley the HBO show is using this idea for their next season) it will be huge. Anybody that's into Investing needs to look at innovative companies using Blockchain. It actually makes them predict what you want to eat and then automatically orders it before you even ask. It does cause a small glitch though..... titanthakur
NashvilleNinja
I honestly don't understand how people can give thin air so much intrinsic value. Paper money may not have any actual value in and of itself, but it is a representation of something valuable, whatever it may be. Once upon a time it actually was backed by something people figured was valuable due to its use. What is bitcoin backed by that gives it value? Why is it worth trading?
