Similar to .com stocks, Beanie Babies, tulips in the Netherlands in the 16th century, and ME's sock account - shit can be worth a lot for a little bit.

But this is nothing more than an MLM, and like any pyramid scheme, more people lose than win.

Do I wish I had gotten in on it 10 years ago? You bet you're ass. Do I wish I had dabbled in it 5-6 years ago, damn right!

If I had gotten in on it or dabbled in it, I sure as hell wouldn't own much of it today. Most smart people have already cashed out and passed the bag to suckers hoping to get residuals. Three years from now, it'll be nothing but another case study - like ME.

There is no doubt if people got in at the low buy in they could have made a lot of money.

But a lot of the pro BTC arguments turned out to be total fantasy. It's never going to be a currency, it damn sure ain't an inflation hedge.... Russ and supdawg claimed it would be 1 mill a coin by now.

Also the extreme majority of people bought it at high prices and are down. The price is where it was 5 years ago. The market has almost doubled over that time.

I still believe a decentralized form of money has the potential achieve an extremely high marketcap, bigger than gold, bigger than the dollar. What changed for me is the "implied odds" for bitcoin. I don't think it's a horrible investment, just at current prices with the my view on its fundamentals and competition, I don't want to own any.

where did I claim it would be 1 million by now? I remember saying watch out for this and last year for the 300k range. It's still on path to do the normal thing it's done every cycle. Maybe drop down to 45 k and then get close to a 10x at the next peak. Then drop down to around 1/4 of whatever the next peak is before 10x-ing again in 4 years.

BTC would be do g significantly better if paper bitcoin wasn't allowed to be traded and the rubes weren't dumb enough to accept fake BTC.

Doesn't it ever get old for you to come in here every 2 years and brag that its a scam and then watch and have to sit silent 2 years later, watching as it doubles from its last ATH again? You yourself think you should never sell stocks. Same is true for the major cryptos.

Watching it double? BTC is the same price(59k+) today it was Oct 2021.... 5 years ago.

...and it was 130k a few months back...have you learned nothing? Did you not just read what you responded to? it's the same story every year.  "Haha BTC is crashing it's for fools!!" Then it goes on to basically double the last ATH and you bite your tongue for a year and a half.

are you really that ignorant to the same cycles and arguments you try and introduce and get beat down on for the least 16 years? Hahaha

it's like you talk shit about the sun when it sets every day completely forgetting that it rises the next and always has. sounds like copium.

We can also constantly earn on BTC no matter the price btw. Sure it's less when the price is less but it's way better than most any dividend stock and it comes with the benefit of nearly quadrupling the current price in a couple years.

You'd be silly not to be buying now.
