  1. We dont even get the random, meaningless, big plays on offense that the worst of the worst teams get occasionally. I'm not even asking for good play or consistency. Just a random big play here and there. It's really crazy how devoid this team is of offensive spark.
  2. Biggest disappointment for Texas this year isn't Manning - - - it's 100% the OL. I watched every game in recent years, including this one, and they can't run the ball or pass protect this year...at all really. Really, really poor play upfront. Sarkisian's system is heavy on timing, and the OL gives up quick pressure at a massive rate. They look like the Titans.
  3. I was listening to Texans radio on the way to work this morning, and they were talking about what they need to add by the trade deadline to make a playoff push. They stammered around for a couple minutes and then all agreed they are completely loaded at all positions and don't need anything. I saw the SF game yesterday, and I think they're right. It's tearing me up inside how much talent they have across the board, while we have basically none whatsoever. I can't understand it.
  4. One of the most polished WRs I've seen in a while. He's fun to watch.
  5. I agree with Brady. These QBs are coming in better than ever, physically, and worse than ever in understanding defenses, and league is bending over backward pandering to that.
  6. Basically the opposite of what Brady said. That these QBs are learning nothing in college, and NFL OCs are being forced to dumb the game down to absurd levels so they can play. I go with this point of view.
  7. The OL and WRs are simply so bad on this team, the specific plays we call are almost immaterial. We can't execute.
  8. She's overriding their decisions, so it's just a matter of time before they part ways. I don't see either of them leaving these jobs on their own, but the relationship will continue deteriorate until it's "a mutual agreement to part ways".
  9. Some anonymous Raiders coach says we're the worst team he's seen in 25 years. Simmons is the only decent player we have.
  10. What if she turns on the QB after a 1-win season and decides she's done losing? Will you still feel that way?
  11. This board circled the wagons around Ward in February. Don't expect that to change for another year or so. I was never impressed or thrilled with it, but I was one of about 5 people. If you're a fan of this team, you need to hope he's the guy. The alternative is not good. I've seen him make some impressive plays that do give confidence, but it'll be another year or year and a half before we really know.
  12. Regression from what? He's never done anything at this level. This is such a false premise. Levis took massive heat and abuse for failing in this system - - no one gave him a pass for regressing due to Callahan. Are we going to re-think that, or is this just a double-standard?
  13. Not so fast. I think Dart and Abdul Carter lead the Giants to a Super Bowl, and Cam continues to regress, melts down, holds out and and forces our hand to trade him after this fucked up season. No one will remember the Sweat fuck-up then.
  14. Maybe so, but we have no idea what goes on the locker room. Sometimes guys are total cancers that you HAVE to dump. Like the Vic Beasley stories from Lewan and Will Compton. Of course, he totally sucked on top of being a cancer.
  15. How fast can we get out of these Ridley, Sneed, and Moore contracts? Looks like these 3 are making about $60 mil this year, and about $75 million next. Of course we suck. Not too enthused with Hooker or Cushenberry contracts either. These guys are barely serviceable on their best day. Same with Key. Our top 10 contracts on over the cap is all you need to see to know not to pay for YouTube Sunday Ticket to watch this train wreck of a season. Callahan of course needs to go but these GMs we've had need to be horsewhipped. This roster is totally devoid of talent.
  16. Why does Ward sell the look of a hand-off before handing it off?
  17. That game marks the official end of the contender window we had, but I would argue it actually closed when Taylor Lewan went down two months before that..in Buffalo on Monday, Sept 19th.. So, to me, the window was from Nov. 19, 2019 - to Sept 19th, 2022. Nov 19th, 2019 Kalu blocked the FG to beat KC, and I felt we became a real contender that day. You could argue it was when Tannehill became the starter, but we officially arrived that day against KC.
  18. A cripple fight, with the soft dulcet tones of Beth Mowins calling the action...
