Yup. Our building is closed too (I’m in the brick building attached to the NML skywalk) Sadly I still live right downtown though so I am planning on doing my best to stay away from everything as much as I can relatively speaking

I'm already not excited about what will assuredly be heightened security than what was initially planned... I live 2 blocks from the security perimeter and it's going to be a mess this week

I'm going to liquidate my portfolio

I forgot who said it but earlier in this thread someone was talking about how Nvidia was overpriced and unsustainable when it was like $75 back in 2016 (before any splits obviously). My very first post in this thread was about NVDA basically doubling all the way to like $30 lol. How far will Nvidia run has basically been asked multiple times now in this thread over the course of 8 years lol -
I honestly would buy more BTC regularly if the fees weren’t so outrageous compared to Cardano… as of now I can just make purchases and transfers each paycheck so I don’t mind paying a few cents on those $30 transactions. I haven’t looked into what it would cost with recurring BTC purchases and transfers but you really would need it to go to the moon and other currencies be stagnant just to make up the percentage difference in fees.
-
The point still stands that putting a couple thousand bucks into something years ago and then the price of pack of smokes a week from each paycheck isn’t really worth actively managing more than transferring that money to my Trezor. With how high fees are for some currencies along with how volatile everything is, I’d much rather just do nothing and get whatever percentage I’ve been getting from staking. Sure, it may end up “trending towards 0 in BTC terms” but unless I actually lose money, I don’t really care what BTC does because I don’t ever see that getting as high as the BTC fanatics do while also expecting ethand ada to at least hold its own enough for me to not care about the the differences.
-
Great. Then I’ll start converting more of it to ETH than anything
-
But at the end of the day the only thing that matters is what the prices are at decades down the line when I retire and convert it to USD. its not like I went into buying any crypto thinking it has much practical use for actually spending like a regular checking account
-
Yeah. When I got into Cardano it was around .10 while BTC at the time was around 17K I think. It’s safe to say that my ROI as of now is bigger with Cardano than it would have been if I put that money in BTC. Obviously they have gone up and down more than each other at different points so the individual cost basis tells a different story than just that very simple math. I wish I put a lot more in at that point compared to a couple weeks later making most of my gamble when the prices were like 25-30K for BTC and like .20 for ADA

The number one issue is not and has never actually been the border

“Protecting democracy” is absolutely not a good message to lean on and be your primary campaign ideology. I have no doubt that doesn’t relate to the masses, as someone said above, lean into something tangible and rights that have already been taken away or are very obviously going to be axed immediately.

That was a surprisingly good video

Derrick Henry is still an elite back.
wiscotitansfan replied to titansfan's topic in Titans and NFL Talk
Dude, all you have to do is just argue against Henry not being as bad as people here claim but the fact that you constantly double down on arguing he’s not washed makes you look like you’re being sarcastic about your responses…. He’s very obviously a shell of himself while still being a solid player who gets what is (or isn’t) blocked for, who’s simply not worth the money -
Derrick Henry is still an elite back.
wiscotitansfan replied to titansfan's topic in Titans and NFL Talk
It’s as simple as this… he’s an average back who’s able to handle a shitton of carries. Thats basically the definition of replaceable talent by a RBBC -
I don’t know even which poll you guys are referring to but anything related to Malik being the starter is pretty hilarious mocking “anyone with a brain”. ….. The titans ended last season by picking up a QB off some teams practice squad because they didn’t want to start the guy who was with the team all season so far. Malik starting was never ever the correct choice no matter what the other options are

And these are real types of stats I was asking about… clearly not something as brain dead as his response of points per snap how about successful plays total for all their touches? -

I was obviously just mocking you for using efficiency as a positive for Derrick Henry but just a couple days ago you had post after post how .6 ypc isn’t indicative of Henry’s play I think YPC over a small sample size is an awful way to judge someone -

wiscotitansfan replied to titansfan's topic in Titans and NFL Talk
I already said my 4th down comment was incorrect because it was a no huddle situation As for the yards, I just found it funny that Mythos was referencing efficiency but was just berating people for using YPC as a metric in how good of a player someone is We already all know that Vrabel uses Henry way too much and last week sure as hell emphasizes that. I’m not sure what you’re saying about how the team views Henry when I already very very clearly established that I was wrong about them not replacing Henry with Spears in as obvious of a running “goal line” type situation as you will ever see in the history of the NFL. Not sure what the rest of your rant relates to because that’s already been addressed? -

wiscotitansfan replied to titansfan's topic in Titans and NFL Talk
So your whole sentence of efficient/productive and scored 2 TDs was your way of saying he “scored more points per snap, more points in the entire game and scored 2 TDs” since yards don’t matter? why be so redundant if you never referenced any yards related to a players contribution -
Derrick Henry is still an elite back.
wiscotitansfan replied to titansfan's topic in Titans and NFL Talk
In what ways was Henry more efficient than Spears if you remove YPC from the conversation? -
Derrick Henry is still an elite back.
wiscotitansfan replied to titansfan's topic in Titans and NFL Talk
Weren’t you the one going on about how you can’t discuss RB with people if they think YPC matters? The only thing Henry did that wasn’t what was expected from him at the very least is the passing TD I really don’t know what to tell you if you think that Henry looked like the better back -
Derrick Henry is still an elite back.

Dismissing the entire rest of the game? It was clear as day who the better back was -

You are correct. Box score says no huddle -

If there weren’t any subs that makes sense. But if not it obviously says a lot more
