So 12-18 pts per year given up on kicking diff, top 10 defense every season, listening to other teams playcalls and cutting off their headsets constantly... there was like 2-3 other things we listed years back that added up to like a games worth of yardage each. Its why the Billicheck vs Brady debate is silly. Each guy gets maybe 1-2 total superbowls without the other. One of my favorite memories of Titans football was Vrabel getting over on Belichick in the playoff game by using the rules against him. BB was going off on the sidelines and it was hilarious to watch his pupil out duel him like that. Terrible strategy by Vrabel to keep the game close, but I still loved watching the tables get turned on him like that. I think it's one of the more overrated moments IMO because they only were up 1 point. It was, but it was still really enjoyable as a Titans fan. BB was barking at the refs in disbelief. It was an excellent tactic used alongside a terrible strategy. The Titans should have blown the doors off. That was one of the defining differences between BB and Vrabel. Belichick loved blowouts but knew how to navigate close games.
