did you guys really listen to a 10 minute Jameis interview

"We don't have to agree, we don't have to respect, we don't even have to understand  peoples perspective, but I think we should support each others perspectives because that's what they believe in."

In fairness, I thought it was an 8 minute long Chappelle Show bit before I realized who was talking and the real context of it.

"We don't have to agree, we don't have to respect, we don't even have to understand  peoples perspective, but I think we should support each others perspectives because that's what they believe in."

Immediately stopped listening after that. That is the dumbest comment I've ever heard..

And if you don't agree with, understand, or respect that, you should support my perspective!

For Jameis Winston I thought it was pretty well said. We all know what he was trying to say. Nobody ever said he was a great orator

I have no idea what he was trying to say.

The obvious question any sane person would have is do we have to support the ideas of racists, rapists, and cannibals? While not agreeing with then ofc. Also, what would that look like?

I'm not saying he is eloquent, or even that he is right, just that he handled a pretty tough question fairly well. I mean the real answer is that it was stupid for Dart to enter the political fray in such a public way but he didn't want to say that so turned the focus to what's important. I dunno for Winston I give him a B- here.

I’ve never known a lawyer that’s worth a shit that wasn’t a republican. Well, at least till it’s time to file

And yet no decent attorney wants to represent Trump in court.

When I watched I heard JW say we are football players, we are the Giants, Dart and Carter's lockers are next to each other in the locker room.  When we play, we are the Giants.  That's how it ought to be.  We, US'n don't have to beat one another up because we have different politics.  We are a nation of individualists.

We are still the great experiment.  We are a free people.
