They really shouldn't have left. It was dumb as shit. I still think of the team as San Diego Chargers, not the LA Chargers. Nobody wants them in LA. People in LA want San Diego to have the team. It's a truly ridiculous situation in Los Angeles. Most of the fans like the Raiders with a strong number of 49ers fans. The Rams have grown something of a fanbase and over time will be the top team in town. The Chargers are somehow trying to fight all of the above. It's an unwinnable battle. The right thing to do is to sell the team to someone who will build them a stadium in San Diego County. NashvilleNinja, and Callidus 1

I've always kinda felt a kinship with the Chargers. It's a remarkably similar organization to our own. Inconsistent as hell, great iconic players and mind-numbingly brutal playoff losses. There is no sensible reason for them to be in a city that doesn't want or need them when there is a city that would support them two hours away. It's a totally different situation than the Raiders. In the long run, Las Vegas is perfect for the Raiders. Tex in a Can

You could argue it would make more sense, or would have made more sense when it happened, for the Raiders to be in LA and the Chargers in Las Vegas. NashvilleNinja
If they ever do move the Jags to London or wherever, they'd better be moved to the East. Just move the Dolphins over to the South. Voila.
SleepingTitan
I know in my brain that it's a 5-12 season and we probably have some exciting moments where we feel like we're almost there. If cam takes a good second year step and the defense is much improved, we could be pretty scrappy with no one looking at us as an easy win. titanruss

Hyperion
Instead of the international games, I wish teams could do one regional home game. Let the Titans play a game in Memphis,,Knoxville or Tuscaloosa and build some actual visibility outside their immediate market and be more accessible one week to fans in a regional market. FRT
Not sure those three locations would fly for a Titans regular season game but I 100% agree that all preseason games should be outside the home stadiums. A two year 3 win franchise ain’t drawing shit, just see the fact ticket sales were down 9% last year. Just won’t ever happen because owners have those paydays baked into the PSL/Season Ticket owners fee structure. Although the first NFL game I ever attended was the Oilers and Rams in a preseason game at the Liberty Bowl 8-22-1986. But that was a way different time then even when the Oilers announced moving a decade later. Edited May 22 by FRT

Is there something in the NFL bylaws that prevents teams from doing this with their home games? Sounds like an ownership choice. They'd have to give up all of the parking and concessions profit. I know the UFL did some of this during this current season.
