Russinis threats of legal action are just threats IMO ...because let's be real here - Russini has no grounds to sue and would be terrified of discovery. The one hope is the difficulty proving she traded sex for stories - though I believe in civil suits, proof or likelihood of her ever doing it (all the previous rumors from other stops) can be enough to dismiss a libel suit. (But I'm no lawyer, just chatted with some) 

 

 

Regardless, Even imagining no legal repercussions possible - that's stupid reporter is getting fired for her language, attacking too high above her pay grade, acting trashy herself, being emotional as a reporter rather than analytical, and in general just being a dumbass.  
 

With ANY threat of legal action, she also attacked a whole system of people well above her pay grade by ignorantly not knowing how shit works sometimes.

Japan covered this but there's contrarian views and then there's what happened here. .. ignoring clear evidence and insulting everyone as women-hating bigots that don't wait for 2 years and the tell all biographies ... then arguing tangential minutia while alienating anyone that was trying to see it from his POV. 
 

It happens every day on the internet.  Someone could be right or wrong and have some folks on their side.... but if 100% of people don't agree - they turn everyone against them through their interactions and claim the world is dumb. Accurate self-reflection is a virtue. The opposite is a self-feeding curse.

The thing is this isn’t even new if you read his posts whenever he is really wrong on something.  He does this all the time.

Jamal, I think you're missing what people are getting on you about.  It has nothing to do with Russini.  It's about the fact that you tried to act like there was nothing to see when it was obvious to anyone looking at the photos when taking into context where they were taken that the two were having an affair.  And you continued to try and say that we were wrong for thinking that.

Yeah, like the Henry vs Tannehill debates (Henry goes on to star elsewhere and Tanny is in the scrapheap) and the defending the AJB trade debate (it was dumb as fuck) and the fake-asthma is a shit excuse for being out of shape and we shouldn't sign off on that debate (he was a bum and asthma never came up again) and the we should improve on the fat, barely mediocre kicker than numbnuts like Japan couldn't handle debates (duh, improve on that) and the turning away GMs because they won't rubber stamp hiring an interim twice-already retread is dumb and his leash will be seriously short (he was fired in just a few years, immediately after winning a playoff game) and the fuck this Jake Locker dude debate (my meltdown on the podcast was already too late and it still took the forum forever to accept that).

The person using that word in this thread the most is you. Every single instance save 1 is posters saying "no one is saying that" or  you saying everyone here is calling her that. 

 

The vast majority of the people were laughing at the situation for BOTH of them, bringing up history of women reporting this about her and multiple outlets that had rumored this and laughing at the situation... calling him a meathead.. and laughing at tweets going to the clear and obvious extreme.

Most of the insults to her character come after more info came out about the resort-type or when all the vids of her trashing her husband while sucking up to other men publicly. 

 

People also were bashing Vrabel but it appeared you choose to protect only her.

Saying a woman slept around to get stories is calling her a whore. People can post "no one is saying that" all they want. I can say "I'm beloved of the TR mob" but saying the words doesn't mean anything, even if often repeated. It has to be true to ... be true.

 

Firstly, some absolutely took it that route because it's TR and they're trash people but even those just calling out the history or discussing how she built her career ... all that stuff that people were so eager to post for a variety of reasons ... that she's being called a whore is 100% the plain implication on hand.

 

And, here, let me help you. If you don't agree that the obvious implication is real, then THAT'S where you plant your flag ... assuming you want to say something meaningful or valid. 

 

Try something like: "I don't agree that ascribing to a woman the behaviors of a whore is the same as calling her a whore. And even if I did - if I'm joking about it then it doesn't count. We disagree on that point but now that I know you believe that, I understand your response. Fuck off and die being wrong."

 

And, yes, I will always hesitate to call a woman a whore - or to assert things that obviously imply it. You don't have to hesitate. You don't even have to agree with the label I apply to it. But when you don't hesitate, I'll label it that way and all the denials in the world change nothing for me.
