He would immediately give Ward a top WR. Forget his 40 time. Didn't he have the most big plays of any WR this year? Tate was the big play guy for OSU, a team filled with big plays. The fact that he went to OSU isn't overhyping him. OSU WRs tend to do well in recent years. He runs GREAT routes. He'll start day one. He could easily top 1k yards as a rookie. What more could you want? Combine numbers matter, but overemphasis on them is how you end up with Tyrone Calico, and how people like AJ Brown fall to the second round. This guy is a legit playmaker. Idk how CPOE is calculated but Tate had stats like a catch % = 77.3, a drop % = 0 (didn't drop a pass), and a contested catch target % = 85.7 (12 of 14 on contested catches) which I guess is included. Of the 14 contested targets, half of them were deep balls. 2 deep left, 4 deep middle, and 1 deep right. The one to the deep right was the only one that was incomplete.
