I made a lot of posts in 21' about how Tannehill stood in the pocket, got the hell beat out of him and still guided the Titans to the best record in the AFC.  Vrabel HCOY.  Henry Broke foot.  Tannehill had to make it work with his game.  "I'm standing here on my spot and I'm going to throw this football.  I don't give a shit if I get hit."  It's amazing he survived without injury.

I spoke about that a lot.  But some fans didn't see that.  They saw other RBs putting up yards similar to Henry.  They criticized the HC for doing what he did in 2019,2020,2021 pre injury.  What do other coaches do?  When a player goes down they run their same offense as best they can.  Why?  They have worked on their game plans since the end of the season before.  The personnel fits what they do.  They can't just go get KC's or LA's playbook and run that.

But no, somehow when key players are missing the team should function exactly the same?  They run to PFF* looking for flaws.  We were a fierce team during that time.  KC.  Buffalo.  LA.  Baltimore. Walked off the field beat by the Titans.  Those Buffalo games where the best.  How do you see all that and come to the conclusion the HC sucked?  smh.

bc sucked.  Mike Vrabel took one year off and took a 3-14 team to the SB.  'He played an easy schedule.'  I wish they had won to hear, 'well the NFC was weak this year.'  I'll tell you what's weak.  Saying Derrick Henry, aka da King isn't a NFL great.  Then refusing to give a NFL HC any credit after he wins HCOY twice and takes a three win team to a SB in his first season.  That's just a disingenuous way of shaking up old peoples.

This is likely a guaranteed disaster. Willis/Ewers might be one of the worst 1/2s at QB ever. They are also surrounded by an absolutely terrible supporting cast.

Can you say Arch Manning?

The Cardinals having to play the Rams/Seahawks/49ers twice and having Brissett or Beck at QB will also be firmly in the hunt for the #1 pick.

Yes, there are actually multiple teams in contention. The Fins and Cards have to be favored

Jeremiah Smith may actually drop to being the 3rd overall pick if those two teams finish last/almost last.

All last season he was still waiting for the right opportunity ... but THIS year it's silly to think he wants to play?

@japan.

what are you confused about with this post from March?  Half the board said Tannehill was still waiting for the right opportunity last year. So when they now try to act like it's silly to mock them for thinking that stupid shit, you are confused?

no one wants him.

it's was said appropriately in a Reddit thread last week:

"He doesn't want to go to the teams bad enough to need him. If they are so bad that they need Tannehill, then it's better to tank than risk an extra win.  He's not good enough for the good teams to want him, and the dream scenario that he's looking for of a top team losing a QB late isn't happening.. and if it did, he hasn't played in years and wouldn't be one of the top choices anyhow"

You shouldn't have to explain this to people.  Especially posters who swear they know everything.  Ok.  Ryan was a damn good football player.  He was one tough s.o.b.  Was he a playmaker?  You ever see a story about him grabbing victory out of the jaws of defeat on SportsCenter? 🦗🦗🦗 The usual bs, da east coast media.

That said, he was damn good for us.  Without him 2019 was not happening.  2021 was maybe his best year because he had to do it without Henry.  He stood in and took a hellova beating leading the team to the best AFC record.  His HC got HCOY.  That's where the problem lies for a lot of Tanniwags.  Mike Vrabel😠

MV got to the SB with Drake Maye.  He's a football coach(likes pussy).  He can get players to give 90%.  Every coach can't do that.  Jealousy is a weak emotion.  It's a negative emotion.  He's got a punk attitude and struts when he walks.  SO!  He's smart as hell when it comes to playing football.

The stars aligned.  Wise NFL people said, "that one is going to be a good HC."  They knew wtf they were talking about.  He who must not be named pulled the lever and got 3🎰.  Vrabel.  LaFleur. Pees.  That was the best bunch we have had since Fisher.

They designed a winning formula.  Was that team supposed to win @Kansas City?  Were the Drake Maye led Pats supposed to win the SB?  The Pats won three games the year before Mike Vrabel came to coach.

You think we are going to get to the SB this season?  buh-ba-buh-buh

Agree, Tannehill was the spark the team needed and perfect scheme fit at that time. He was a huge reason we won a lot of reg season games.. but also the reason we lost and/or just not enough of a contributor to help us win when needed. Was a perfect storm.

The issue is holding on to those 32-ish games (really closer to 18 but whatev) and projecting that to the end of his time here and thinking he had anything left in the tank and was a guy people still respected.

He was good, then he was done. Its ok to admit that.

Malik might have had a shot at a solid showing with Weddle and Hill. With these no name WRs and considering Willis lack of experience it could really be a massacre of a season

Malik Washington needs to take a huge step up in the absence of other WRs. The OL isnt god awful for what they wanted to do there...but I don't know what the offensive plan is now.

As far as a projected offense heading into training camp that Fins roster might be the worst ever. They don't even have to worry about injuries.

You normally only see rosters that bad after being injury riddled
