Number9
This continues to be an interesting side story. Willis came into the league overrated/underrated. Something just seemed to travel with him and bump him off the road. He seemed to understand he's limited, but he stays available. Every year, we trained him. He got a few starts, but always that little bump. Willis would say, "I'm thankful to God to be here." He didn't let those bumps stop him because he's playing with house money. TerryBoats
Remember that Willis had Dennis Daley/NPF as his tackles and Burks as his WR1 as a rookie. I'm not sure we were able to make a fair analysis

When they tried to use him in a limited/gadget role he couldn't even hold the ball Callidus, japan, and CreepingDeath

When they tried to use him in a limited/gadget role he couldn't even hold the ball Willis is one of thousands of players who struggled early and improved throughout their career. Nobody assigns trade value based on potential - they decided to accept his market value while he was his least experienced and under the worst circumstances imaginable, and they left a lot of money on the table as a result and look completely retarded by betting on Levis Number9

He had no business starting before mid-2nd year at least.... He was forced into action unprepared and early because of our terrible roster. Kudos to him for possibly turning it around. But he was a laughingstock here... Edited August 17 by japan MadMax, Callidus, and KogaShuko
titanruss
Malik had no shot here because we had no line, a bad teaching pipeline, and no patience to do what we said we would do. If you draft a guy to not even see the field for more than 2 years, then you need an adequate backup. All defenses had to do was come after him and the plays was done. He did improve every step of the way though and everyone that mentioned it was laughed at. TerryBoats, eskimo, and Number9

I'll never forget the helpless feeling of that primetime game in KC where almost everything was working for the Titans. Defense had Mahomes confused and running scare and offense was playing well. All they needed was a mediocre game manager at QB and they win that thing easily. Willis was so bad. The rest of the team played so well that somehow it went to overtime... The rest of the team played so well that somehow it went to overtime... That was his second start... early in his rookie year and third game of action. Against a fantastic defense too. He was so bad. He was embarrassing.. felt bad for the kids. But he wasnt even supposed to be playing yet, they literally said not till year 3. By year 3 mid-preseason he was already traded, looked better for us and proved himself to be an asset to the packers by the time the season started. One of this franchises biggest issues is not sticking to it's plans. Constantly losing value. I wouldnt hant him as the starter here, but we could have gotten a significantly better return than what we did get. CreepingDeath
You apologists are going to look like limp-wristed wieners as the season goes on. Me? I'm so fucking hyped that this jackass is on the Dolphins simply so they can tank and clear our their salary cap. Willis is a joke and worked his ass off to do well as a backup in GB. As a starter and in a shit situation he's going to show his true value. Place-holder. Fuck this dude for adding negative value to good Titans teams. I hope he makes it as a journeyman. I have little faith he will actually hold down a starting gig for a season or more with success though.
