He shot through the side window didn't he? I can get why the guy reached for his gun and drew it out, but by the time he reached around into the open window and started firing, he was already safe. It was a retaliatory act after a near miss or in response to her defying instructions, not to save his or anyone's life. Anyone defending it is a moron, there is no way this is sound police work. If this is what they're trained to do then the situation as a whole is dire. It seems very unlikely the driver intended to specifically hurt anyone. She had her window down (because she was waving a car through) and they had guns. If she had murderous intent, that is very odd behavior. There is a good chance she didn't even know there was a man near the front of her car because the immediate threat for her was the agents approaching her driver door. She reacted to one of them trying to open her door to presumably attack her or drag her out, which itself is completely unnecessary and a big overreaction. The guy who did that was also stupid to do this knowing there was a fellow agent potentially in harms way, obviously a person may react by accelerating forward to escape the threat.
