It's almost like the whole damn league is trolling us the entire off-season so far. We needed a head coach? So did half the league by the 3rd week of January. Need a starting center? So does at least a quarter of teams out there (maybe not, but it seems like it lately). Get out the way, fuckers! Maybe WSH. and one of those teams has zero money (MIN). Ravens have a point that they won’t go over with Linderbaum. Even if we don’t land him, we have enough cash to pay McGovern. tgo

None of the remaining center-needy teams have the firepower to challenge us for Linderbaum. Chargers were who I was worried about with all that cap space and being a great fit there, but now they are out of the equation. Giants are the obvious suitor but we far outlcass them when it comes to cap space. rns90

Buck Reising also said they only have 8 during the week. Better than AtoZ thinking we had 12 or whatever it was lol AussieTitanFan08
titanruss
Don't we want a good pass blocker though? I thought lindenbaum was allowing quick pressures up the middle a lot

GLinks
Linderbaum’s pass blocking grade is around 63.9 out something. It’s around 20 points less than his run blocking grade. McGovern isn’t as mobile but he’s more balanced. And he’s the better pass blocker for sure.

Cam comes first. There's also Daboll ties. I think McGovern is the more likely play because of that. He also should be a little cheaper to get than Linderbaum too. titanruss

I wonder if it means we won’t play as much ZBS with McGovern. Probably stick with more man and gap concepts at this point anyway, I’d imagine. I mentioned the zone vs gap thing yesterday in refrence to the run game and the response was daboll has been running 60% zone. Idk if that carries over to the pass blocking though. They apparently plan on bidding or getting involved in the top RB, WR, edge (this one surprises me) and some other positions. It seems like the owner is dying and they have no patience. It’s not an issue since there is more than one C available

Not sure how much Harbaugh being with the Giants sways Linderbaum, but that can’t be forgotten as a factor
