I wanted wins till around week 10. Thats when my priorities changed and draft picks became more important. 

 

I dont even mind if they legit win games against good teams. If they had won against Seattle or SF without the wackyness of the cardnials game that would have been fine. 

 

Beating up a broken down SF team and scooting by the browns are hallow victories and everyone knows it. If the circumstances were fliped and we were playoff hunting everyone would be poointing out thoae games were not ebidence we could make it in the playoffs.

The wife and I like to spend on each other. Neither of us are close to 52. And I got no socks.

I totally get fans wanting to lose out to get a higher draft pick. But honestly, unless you're actually expecting players and coaches to intentionally try to lose games I'm not sure what the point of this conversation is.

 

At that point we're just arguing about what fans should want...not what the team should actually do.

At that point we're just arguing about what fans should want...not what the team should actually do.

Which is completely fair, but we crossed that bridge a long time ago. The better draft pick crowd knew and accepted that fact from the start. We were going to win another few games just by sheer luck and we all knew it back when we were 1 and 10. Hoping for the best outcome for the team to rebuild as quickly as possible was never about tanking. It was we suck and a few white elephant games dont make this team good going forward, better talent does. 

 

This became a fiasco because the we must win crowd turned it into a who is a real fan dick measuring contest.

I'd say Ward's development as a rookie has been excellent, no doubt he's a way better QB than early in the season. They have 3 wins, one was one of the biggest flukes in NFL history. They would normally in in great position for the #1 pick but there are so many truly terrible teams.

The progression has turned them into a respectable dogshit team. Just gotta let Borgo cook since we’ve seen enough from Ward to be optimistic.

Fans of every team root for their team to lose when they suck in order to have better draft picks.   There are many Bills fans now that want the their team to lose and not make the playoffs so McDermott will get fired.   Titans fan base is no different from the others.

wrong again... I never root for my team to lose, even in week 17 or 18 scenarios.
